I like Ange too.

I would say that she is small bo--my waifu but everybody knows she's already committed to Battler.

It's a toss up between Ange, Natsuhi and Beato for me though. They're all so great.

Most of the time I feel voices are strange when I hear the anime adaptation. But sometimes hearing the disembodied voice is just a little hard to imagine fitting right with a character. When you see the voices actually used in the animation you may feel differently. Or, as you said, it may just grow on you.

I'm not displeased by the voices really. They don't seem horrible or anything.

Some parts were familiar enough that they made me slightly uncomfortable. So maybe it's not so much that I got bored as I wanted to get out of there quickly because it hit home a little too hard. Much more than I anticipated anyway. But that was mostly towards the later parts of her school story, not the beginning. The beginning was the Maria bit iirc and well... It's good set up for Sakutarou but it was also pretty boring.

I disliked Ange up until a certain part toward the very end of Episode 4, and even that wasn't enough to completely redeem her in my eyes. I know the story is designed to make you feel sympathy for her, but I was too annoyed by her attitude to care about her very much.
