For mamono - One critical part that I think would be important for mamono/human coexistance is that mamono, even the jealous ones would still be practically legally mandated to seek to include a human woman into their marriage at some point so as not to limit human reproduction. Everyone encouraged to form harem units of a size appropriate to give most mamono a chance at companionship in life. All such family units have to include at least one human woman and it's understood that she is to be a strong focus, with other mamono encouraging her to have kids and help with child rearing to get more humans.

In my opinion, to make a society where humans have a choice of either trying to be independent from mamono, which would mean a peaceful but relatively tough life, or they can choose to accept their roles and get a much easier life but at a cost of risking their personal drives and ambitions.

Once a guy has 2 to 4 mamono harem pampering him, wanting nothing but sex, it would be so easy to get lazy and complacent. Same for human women when her sister wives take over all the chores and even provide for her and she is free to do nothing but focus on having kids. Both would likely degrade in their professional lives as well if they don't need to push themselves to make ends meat and are basically guaranteed a decent lifestyle, mooching of the mamono in their family.

Individuals with a strong will would be able to have it all if they have the self-discipline to not allow the pampering from mamono to soften them up and continue pushing themselves. But I think most humans would be the lazy sort if given such an opportunity, degenerating to just the minimum that the mamono require of them - willing cum pump and baby factory

Of course mamono themselves would still desire that rare strong-willed companion, but most would be willing to settle for just having a family at all.
