They've been able to hold medium to small sized doujin events after the initial reaction to corona. M3 and Comitia will be held later this year. I just extracted the long Kanji folder name from the archive content to my games folder and just running it normally with no app locale or anything special seems to work. I was able to play it and won against Reimu. I'm using a latest update windows 10.

However all the dialogue is just '.......' . I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to be or if there's actual dialogue and I indeed do need to run it with a locale.

For me Locale Emulator didn't solve it, but setting the system locale to Japanese did work.
I'm on Windows 7 and the game works perfectly fine despite not being supported officially.
