So from what I gather...
Japan hates every country in the world...
With the exception of Germany (and being somewhat Tsundere for the US).

Now the question I have?
Why Germany? I mean shit's older than the Axis. The japanese hymn was pretty much arranged by a german musician and their legal system was pretty much copypasted from the german one.

Well, they gotta be reverse-weeaboo for SOME country.
German probably sounds as exotic to them as japanese would sound to germans.

Nah, it looks like Japan has an unquenchable hardon for USA and Italy too.
This list shows the results of a survey where Japanese were asked about which foreign country they would love to live permanently in.

Considering all the gratitious english, that was to be expected.

I'm surprised to see Italy third after Germany.
I always thought they blamed the WWII on Italy.

someone post picture of asuka saying germany is the worst country in the world.

>I always thought they blamed the WWII on Italy.

That's a little too far-fetched even by Japanese terms.

Seems rather bizarre that America and Hawaii are counted as separate countries.

Only because you're an American.

Japan doesn't hate Europe.

Because Germans were fucking awesome awhile ago. Not anymore though.

I'm fairly certain I'm not.

Even then, 'America' isn't a country; it's a continent. Perhaps something's been lost in the translation.

If you want to be stupidly specific about things, America isn't a continent either.

Hawaii is in many ways effectively a different country from the rest of the US, culturally, racially, pretty much all around Hawaii is very different from the mainland. Hawaii used to be independent, and believe me that is still very much a sore point.

In the context of the poll, Hawaii has a much higher Japanese population (both Japanese-American and Japanese emigrant) than the rest of the US, so it was probably separated out for that reason.

Study some history of Meiji era of Japan. Japan had to catch up first Western countries. Japanese government decided to learn from Germany, because Germany also had to catch up U.K, U.S. and France. after WW2, many Asian countries imitate Japan. it is the same thing.

A documentary I saw about a Japanese university student studying in Canada said that some Japanese thought Canada has a rather "relaxed, almost lazy" type of lifestyle compared to their hectic day to day average life.

As a Canadian, I took it as a compliment.

I doubt he meant it as an insult.

>>2762084

Oh no, certainly didn't mean it as an insult.

Imagine a Yukkuri Canadian saying "Take it Easy Eh?"

Something along those lines.

>> No.2762148

Don't worry, Canadian. Canada is notorious for chinks and gooks immigrants in Japn. They always do anti-Japan propaganda. so Japanese know Canada is next Australia.

Nice racial stereotyping is still racial stereotyping.

As for every country in the world, does it hate Japan?
It is absolutely different.
However, it is true that the market is exclusive.

There is only one country disliked at a considerable rate by Japan.

The country disguises as the Japanese and lowers a Japanese reputation.

The country keeps mobilizing 10,000 Internet agents provocateurs by the national expenditure and distributing the lie all over the world.

Australia has too many Australians and Australians are destroying the environment of precious Australia.

It is the same as a kangaroo.

A kangaroo and Australians had better kill together. It is better to? kill both Australians with a kangaroo.
