i know it's a meme game but i personally think it's worth checking out. the voiced portions pause after each line so you can read the subtitles afterwards if you have to and there are tons of unvoiced npcs with lots of relatively easy dialogue like this to go through if you want. i'm finding it easier to motivate myself to do this than trudge through vns or manga, at least at the stage that i'm currently at

One of the biggest problems i have is that I am a dirty subs2srs user. so my media folder is getting stuffed.
this very interesting addon allows you to create cards that instead of storing files on your collection folder it just opens up the section of the video in mpv when you review the card. saving you a lot of storage.
