Worst character of Ever17, in the same way that Ciel is the worst character of Tsukihime. Actually not bad at all, but mediocre next to the other girls.

Her route was completely pointless and unnecessary.

Well, her route isn't exactly necessary, I'll give you that.
But she's still my waifu.

Well, yeah, her route had the least to do with the main plot. That's kinda why I suggest playing her route first (like I did). I did and it lets you get used to the present setting and characters with going into the backstory. Then, once you have a good handle on things, you play everyone else and get into the flashbacks and stuff.

Saki, shitty character or shittiest character?

It isn't pointless because isn't that the route where the line about being seen by others and (therefore) existing first mentioned? That motif has more impact when it gets repeated at the end.

For something to 'exist', there needs to be an observer.
Alluding that there is an observer for them, and also mentioning dimensional examples.
The way Sora is perceived is not actually different for the rest of the characters.

It's been a while since I've played the game too, but I'm pretty sure she mentions that in every route.

Regardless, I love Sora and enjoyed her ending the most behind Coco's. Even if I did think Takeshi was an idiot for dying for a collection of data.
