Heh, that's kinda what I did on first. My friend only recommended me this series/brand and some other but I still asked shop keeper to help me choose. I have A&J DHR6500. It's really so much better than a cheap daki, very comfy, high quality, the filling is really nice to hug and doesn't clump. literally speaking i believe it's meant to represent self-harm and unhealthy coping methods. the stuff about school too, i think in context of the whole song it's about how stressful life and school can be. the children at the table petting the cat and 'lets cuddle forever and always' is meant to represent the addiction to these unhealthy kind of coping mechanisms. the children are trapped at the table and can't go anywhere because they are addicted to it, they do not know anything else, they believe it to be healthy and a safe space/experiecne that simply relieves stress. i also believe that the ending to the song represents specifically one of these children hanging themself. the music gets much more intense, representing all the emotions and stress and build-up that has led the child to commit such an act. but earlier stated in the song, they're 'good for nothing', stupid children. it slows down a bit, like the child is expecting to finally be relieved of the pain and stress, but then it gets ESPECIALLY tense right before the ending. i think it's meant to represent the child incorrectly hanging themselves. you're supposed to jump off a chair to snap your neck, not asphyxiate. i believe it represents the panic and your survival instinct kicking in. i believe this because it would play into the theme of childish-ness and stupidity and being good-for-nothing in the song. and then, after that extremely intense part, it ends on (my brain is literally running out of juice right now, i cant describe it musically, just listen to the end of the song please) an unsatisfying note. the child wanted a quick and painful death, but they died panicking and suffering, the opposite of what they hoped to achieve by killing themselves.

Getcha as a song slaps but also I just got out of a very bad break up (perhaps the worst in my entire life) and for once I finally understand those people who say that a song says everything they wanted to say themselves.

Well, when I initially got into vocaloid I also gave zero fucks about lyrics. You see when it comes to songs I mostly care about how beuatiful they sound not what the lyrics are about and I mostly listen to Vocaloid EDM where lyrics are boviously not that menaingful mostly. However, aside from EDM I also listened to some more mainstream Vocaloid songs from time without caring about the lyrics and lyrics there are not meaningless. In fact, lyrics are extremely important in vocaloid song-they tell you a story, show you developed characters. With time I started to realize that and with that I realized how much I was missing. When it comes to Vocaloid music lyrics lyrics are extremely important to me and no matter how good or bad rest of music is, lyrics can make or break a song for me. For many of my favorite songs I pretty much memorized them because I used to watch translated videos all the time.
I fell in love with Miku because of how she was portraited in these songs, so the closer lyrics relate to how I imagine her, or sometimes how well I personally can relate to these lyrics, the more I enjoy them I guess. It doesn't matter that much in non-Miku songs, but still lyrics can be fun or interesting.

Speaking of downloading from niconico, I installed an extension called niconico audio extractor (very easy to use and efficient) from the chrome extension store, but since then it has been taken down so I can only use it on my old PC.
