It's a >discord guild but joining the server is not required, just communicating with the ingame guild chat is good enough. The guild itself isn't talkative either so it's fine for people to keep to themselves as long as they are donating gold daily and participating in the guild battle event.
We were pretty close to reaching top 150 last guild battle but had a few inactives. Shouldn't be a problem this time around. No power requirements, just looking primarily for activity.

The game starts off kind of slow up to the point you can start farming for 4* and higher equipment - which will take a few weeks of playing if you're completely f2p. Most fun aspect of the game for me personally is probably team building with equipment factored in.
The gacha can be unforgiving - 3% rates with no pity/spark safety nets. A few people here have gone over 100 rolls without a SSR. At the very least, rate-ups in the game are decent, being 1.5% or half of the entire SSR rate.
While the game does have a sort of shitty gacha, the game is also pretty generous with gems. PVP is probably the biggest source of them. Even if you're not too active in PVP, since the PVP player pool is divided into several different brackets based on power/last season's top rank, it shouldn't take too much effort to maintain a ranking that gives you at least 150 gems a day regardless of what power you're at. That's 3 10 rolls a month from just daily PVP income. In addition to that, arena resets monthly and there are milestone gem rewards you can receive for 1st time for reaching a rank. Usually easy enough to at least reach a rank high enough to give around another 2 10 rolls worth. PVP also lets you skip watching the entire battle so it takes even less time to do daily. There's also guild battle where as long as you're in an active guild you should have no problem getting another 2 10 rolls from that too. That's 70 rolls a month plus all of the rolls you additionally get from dailies and just clearing regular content.
Progression in this game can be pretty slow without spending any gems however so you'll have to decide how you want to manage your gems when it comes to rolling or faster progression. I think you can just take your time playing though, because it doesn't seem like the devs are planning to raise the player level limit anytime soon. It took me 72 days to reach the cap and I'm completely f2p so if you're playing the game for the long term you'll eventually catch up as long as the devs increase the max level limit in small increments.

By the way Zero is nowhere to be found and has been replaced by CW-21. Also the upgrade page has changed now instead of filling out 1 giant grid it now has 5 pages for upgrades that you have to complete before moving on the next tier which has another 5 pages. Ferris and Plum are both Green which makes them vulnerable to Mimi. One star Mimi is Blue you she'd be resilient to 3 star Mimi's damage.
As one stars the only have a 50% base proc rate when maxed so you may want to consider gear to boost said rate.

The first two have it on their third skill so it will be difficult to maintain permanently. Compensate with focused burst.
Rom is green so he's not the greatest. Camberly is red. Both have 100% base proc rate.
Wilhelm despite being green has a 100% base proc rate of anti heal on his first skill so he can deny Mimi regen each turn.
Take care that Mimi doesn't blow him up with her shout. Would be best to focus Mimi down first with this strategy.

Obviously three star Ferris is best at dealing with Mimi heal denial due to being blue and providing good support skills on his own. Proc rates are 100% obviously.

In general I tend to ignore Mimi as I run a defensive Blue team. I then overwhelm the regen via bleed and defense down.
It's slow but works given my lackluster roster as a F2P.

Same, only took me 13 rolls when I got shit on during S.Isabelle.
Anyways, she seems really good.
Skill puts her into a berserk state for 2 turns. During this state she deals and receives 10% more damage. She also seems to deal 115% of her attack stat as extra damage unconditionally? The absolute state of Quinn having to RNG 40% for 100% of her atk stat as additional damage, and the absolute city of Ursula who only gets a measly 20% of her atk stat as additional damage only when she has more SP than her target.
Ougi hits 3 enemies with the highest ATK stats. Inflicts a 20% ATK debuff and a new debuff that blocks inflicted units from gaining SP from attacks and ougis. Not sure if this only applies to attacks/ougis done by the inflicted unit itself or if it also blocks them from getting SP from being hit by enemy attacks/ougis.

Overall she sounds like she will be cancer for PVP offense. Not sure if she will also be good in defense since Berserk makes her a lot squishier and due to how auto works she will most likely not ougi before the opponent on turn 2 so you will have to hope she can ougi on turn 1 which doesn't seem like it will happen unless she's 7* for the extra starting SP.

Re zero Event Banner features Ferris in his casual outfit. He's a green utility buffer.
His kit is as follows when maxed.

Leader Skill: Increases the defense of green allies by 35%.
Attack Skill: Magically attacks an enemy with 400% power and gives himself a speed buff for 2 turns.
Basic Skill: Magically attacks an enemy with 600% power and applies a 2-turn speed debuff on the target. Increases the action gauge of all allies by 30%.
Special Skill: Restore all allies by 20% of their maximum HP and grants them a 2-turn speed buff. Also reduces all team members' skill cool-downs by two.

Overall he seems great to build a defensive green team around as you can get off you heals and status effect more often.
One downside is his AOE heal is a tad weak compared to others so you might need another source of sustain if you plan to stall out fights.
Green Butler Subaru will likely benefit from being able to get his special and provoke procs off more often due to the speed buffs and cool-down reduction. (as if he wasn't annoying enough)
