Hey, I'm new.

/jp/ is largely about VNs and japan, right?

Aren't VNs usually really generic? Don't you get bored? I haven't played a lot, but they seem to be similar...

No, not at all. They're all completely different. Try Saya no Uta or Umineko no Naku Koro Ni (though Saya is a lot shorter at 6 hours long, Umineko is huge). You probably think all VNs are like Clannad (which, while it is in a generic setting, is amazing) but they're really not.

Other people watch spectator sports, where pretty much every game is basically the same shit. At least we read stuff and even have some interaction.
