Even if you like it, you have to admit there is no story or proverbial carrot to keep the player interested. It's all just meaningless multiplayer matches. Unless you count achievements, but those are stupid by their very nature.

I don't. FPS I did play online a lot include Frag.Ops (UT2k4 mod), Red Faction, Alien Versus Predator 2, Nexuiz and Wolfenstein: ET. Never liked the Counterstrike or TF series.
Only games I play nowadays are Touhous and VNs.

I play as well, but I usually don't make my weeaboo tendencies obvious.

It's an online FPS. The little bit of characterization the classes do get is way more than I would've expected for the genre. I still chuckle at the medic announcing very loudly, "Everyone, I am on fire," telling all the enemies that there's a weakened high-priority target nearby.

Tired it for a few days from my Orange Box preorder, and couldn't stand it. Shit was slowed down way too much to "force" teamwork like many recent FPSes.

In TF2, things are much slower paced. All the classes except for the scout move at a crawl (and the scout doesn't move that fast compared to Quake/UT), and damage from attacks is toned down.

I did earlier this year. I ran it under WINE in directX level 8 mode in a very small resolution. Then a system update made my mouse start drifting sometime before the Scout update. Haven't touched it since.

It's a cute game, but not awesome enough to make me install Windows for it. I was SpaceIsMeat and I mostly played (poorly) on the Weeabootique.

I used to play tf2 in leagues but tf2 was just really dumb down feeling I played for about 20 hours and haven't played sense launch.

Anything made with N/Onscripter (Narcissu, Tsukihime) will actually run natively, which is nice. Though MirrorMoon's translation required a specific patched build which was a pain in the ass to compile. Most other VNs seem to run fine through WINE though. Some of them might not have working full motion scenes, but the meat is still there.

Also, never had any problems with Touhou or Yume Nikki.
