my six year old imouto has always been interested in me playing online games. Recently I made her an account for TalesRunner, and shes absolutely addicted.
she has learned some words, always typing "lol" after a game, and typing "ready" while waiting, shes gotten real good too, recently she's been coming 1st in some games now.

anyone else have a similar experience?

I can beat anybody at any game after a few hours of practice, I guess my fingers are just naturally more dexterous along with my mind being unusually sharp and loaded with quick wit.

I just run scripts so my computer beats you for me.

Train her well. Teach her to be pure and innocent. To only have eyes for her oniichan.

Her brother goes on /jp/ and plays online games?

There is no hope for her.

Don't let her spent too much time with pc. At this age it especially bad for health (reflexes/eyesight), if you didn't want her wear binocular-sized glasses latter.

I wish someone told my parents this.
I started going on the computer when i was 8, and I suck hard at sports, but, I don't need glasses or anything.

still, would be nice to have some kind of hobby that doesn't involve computers.

I tried to get my imouto into anime and videogames, but I didn't do it until she was around 10 or so. I mostly failed. Since moving home, she has started going outside with friends and only ever plays the Wii once a month or something now.

I probably would have been more successful if I had started it as early as you have.

Is anyone here going to try out RtCW2 when it comes out? If it's good I'll probably be practicing it with a friend from the time we wake up until we go to sleep.

I want to be the little girls so that when when I'm eight years old, my kind onii-chan will teach me how play games. When I play well, he'll smile warmly at me an I'll embrace him tightly as he pats my head.

who knows, its hard to compare your vision since you don't know how other people see.
Nothing interrupts my vision, visual snow but it doesn't effect my vision, as in I don't even notice it.

Profession gamers have better eyesight than airforce pilots and they stare at the computer screen 10+ hours a day.

As long as you make her stay away from wow then I guess that she still has a chance.

Seriously... Wow and little girls doesn't match, don't ruin your imouto!

Make her play good games and teach her stuff about computers. Don't forget to do some other activities with her as well such as teach her how to ride a bicycle or something, so that she doesn't become all that attatched to computers and the like.

Imoutos are precious, train them with utmost care.

I hardly see mine anymore because she's hardly ever home. When she is here she's usually with a friend. She spends a lot of time on the computer, but she is usually on myspace, facebook, etc. She plays Runescape sometimes.
