Hey /jp/ you want to know why they are a Saya no Uta thread every hour?

Because some faggot at /a/ posted one of the hentai scene from Saya no Uta now they downloading/playing it right now.

>> No.2649324

Good to know, but this thread just adds to the other 2309324589 saya threads.

>> No.2649322

That's nice, but it doesn't need its own thread.

So, I just finished Saya no Uta. I loved it on several levels; the Lovecraft Horror nut in me loved the otherworldly feel of the atmosphere, the moefag in me loved Saya's innocent charm, the moralfag in me raged at 2/3 of the endings, the romancefag in me bawwed at the tragedy of the entire story, and the list goes on.

Thoughts on this small, shiny gem?

'Sup /jp/, I just finished Saya No Uta (all 3 endings), enjoyed it very much and was wondering if you guys could recommend me any visual novels similar to it. When I say similar, I mean I prefer that they have a darker and more mature storyline and be fairly short in terms of length. I had played two other visual novels before SnU but this was the first one I finished because it was short and kept me engrossed the entire way. There were never any boring parts.

>> No.2649355

I sometimes wish SnU was never translated.

I enjoyed the threads where we would bitch and whine about how everyone that tried to translate it failed miserably.

Finished Saya no Uta. And it was really, really average.

95% of the cast was completely unlike-able, the exceptions being Saya herself and Fuminori. The plot wasn't all that good, though it did have it's moments. The resolution was either extremely stupid or doesn't resolve much at all, depending on which you take.

That said, I didn't hate it. It was interesting enough to keep me reading, but it never wowed me or made me experience any emotion at all, for that matter. The sad moments never effected me, and the 'intense' moments made me go ''meh''. Everything is pretty much forgettable.

Can somebody explain me why people hyped it so much? Because there's absolutely nothing special about it.

I propose this be made into a new law.

The worst part is that no one will recognize this as the original. Isn't it sad, 95% unlikable copypasta?

>> No.2649432

sup /jp/,

i just finished saya no uta and have to admit that i'm kinda disappointed. all 3 endings seemed kinda short(well the first one was kinda "BAD END" thing so i dont mind it) overall not completely wrapped up. the final ending (kouji and doc vs. fuminori and saya battlan) even missed the fuminori PoV and he/even the player never really see what saya really is.

overall rating: 6/10.

I think I remember quite a few of these threads, but I just finished Saya no Uta. Shit was God-tier. If Anon is not willing to go that far, then it was at LEAST Good-tier. World domination through controlling a worthy species? Fuck yeah. Also, the OST was brilliant.

Are there any VNs similar to this that I've not heard of? I've not tried any other stuff by Nito+, and I get mixed reviews about Chaos;Head from /jp/, so I'm not sure if I should jump into that one.

>> No.2649435

Hey /jp/, just finished Saya no Uta. It was great, I loved the atmosphere and endings. Could you guys recommend me any other translated VNs?

I didn't realize it was the original either. I just edited it from the F/SN version. Back when it was first posted I was probably hiding SnU threads because of spoilers.

So I just finished Saya no Uta.

What the fuck that was awesome, not as emotionally attatching or sad as Yume Miru Kusuri, but damn the story was fucking great. WHY IN THE FUCK DIDN'T THE
-->BENORMALLOLOLOL
FUCKING LAST LONGER THAN THAT CONVERSATION THOUGH? I FUCKING WANTED MOOOOOAR

So I've been out of the VN loop for a while, anyone want to suggest a good new one I can DL so I don't have to go to sleep?

Also I played SnU instead of doing a powerpoint and research project that will instantly fail me out of my English class wooo

Chaos;Head is easily better than Saya.

>> No.2649446

>>2649431
Chaos;Head isn't even really by Nitro+. I believe the only other translated Nitro+ title is Phantom of Inferno, which I haven't touched due to shitty DVD format.

Hey /jp/, /a/non here.

Just finished Saya no Uta, and it was unbelievably kick ass. Yeah, I know, you've probably had a million threads about this, but I spend all of my time in /a/, and they'd probably yell at me if I brought up something like this.

Anyways, ITT: suggest some other kick-ass visual novels...I think I'm addicted.

>> No.2649460

Just finished Saya no Uta, and overall, it was a really good read. The only thing thats been bugging me is if the Silver Key mentioned is the same Silver Key in the Lovecraft Mythos.

>> No.2649454

So, I just finished Saya no Uta.
Yeah, I'm a bit late to the game, blah blah.

Long story short, I absolutely loved it and I want more games like that.
I've played all the Type Moon stuff, Wanko, Yume, Ever17, TfT, Utaware, and some others. None of them I liked as much as Saya no Uta.
I've got Chaos;Head downloaded, but I don't think any other Nitro+ games have been translated.

Can anyone point me in a direction of something similar to Saya? Preferably something dark and disturbing, but immersive enough that I can wank to somebody getting raped?

Thanks.

So i finished Saya no uta, i thought it was fantastic. I never did quite catch why Fuminori got that strange condition in the first place. Was it just a side effect from getting surgery after the car crash or was it implemented in him during surgery?

If it was just a side-effect how was it linked with Saya. He just happens to get an illness where he sees everything as flesh and monsters but luckily there is an entity crawling around who will appear normal to him? seems a bit far fetched.

>> No.2649483

what is this I don't even

>> No.2649478

Ok anons, I just finished Saya no Uta and I almost cried manly tears, not because the end was BAWWWWWWWWW, but because its so GOOD that I feel WARM and TOUCHED.
Saya infested this ugly world with her seeds of love and transformed human beings into a more superior species capable of understanding and love. Saya is almost too merciful if you realize that humans are no more than prey to her. That Male lead is hell of a lucky guy.
This game is almost as curing as ARIA. lol
