Unless DCPC 2 is as good as people say it is, Suika is certainly by far Circus' best game.

Too bad the part of Circus that makes stuff like that decided to become MOON STONE instead, and even MOON STONE is mostly releasing crap nowadays (see Gift, Marginal Skip).

I mostly dislike D.C. because it's a sickening example of how much Japanese companies can milk one concept well after it's dead, and I'm reminded of that every time I see it. The actual game is not BAD, just average.

If there was one problem with Da Capo, it was the introduction of magic bullshit with the cherry tree that gave people powers. WIND executed the idea better.

Da Capo is an above average typical high school VN, that's it. the reason /jp/ doesn't like it is becuase /jp/ doesn't particulary like typical high school VN's, preferring the action/suspense of typemoon/nitro+ stuff.

I played Da Capo after finishing Saya no Uta, and believe me, it was a breath of fresh air.
