You guys, the population of Gensokyo doesn't consist entirely of the main cast. Gensokyo probably has a population of at least a few thousand.

Also, even if there's only like five men in all of Gensokyo, the chances of women being virgins isn't significantly lower. It just means the men are getting laid like mad.

A lack of dicks doesn't mean a lack of attempts to mate with others. You just wind up trying to mate with your own gender. You can actually see this in captive animals if you segregate them by gender they will try to mate with each other still.

Let us see how Gensokyo's population is.

We have a human population, most of it living in the human village, or outside, be it the Hakurei Shrine, Kirisame household, Sakuya and assorted human prisoners in the SDM.

As we know, Youkai grossly outnumber humans (10 to 1?). Not all Youkai are humanoids. There are male Youkai (Youki Kompaku, Rinnosuke Morichika, even if both of them are half human). Youkai are long lived, and tied to nature, meaning some of them cannot die. From a biological point of view, this means they have very low sex drives, or do not mate at all. This being so, could lead to a low male youkai population. Taking Rinnousuke as an example, we can assume that Youkai mate with humans, perhaps as an alternative to male youkai, or lack thereof.

Rinnosuke seems to be the only humanoid male that has been introduced in the Touhou series so far. (Close calls: Genjii is a male turtle, Youki Konpaku was only mentioned in profiles, Unzan is an amorphous cloud, and some nameless males were depicted in illustrations in Perfect Memento in Strict Sense.)
