I don't think I understood a word of the 2deep4u shit at the end of this route the first time I played and I'm not entirely sure I understand it now either.
The concept of tenmei/heaven's will has always kind of confused me. I guess (in this case at least) Senge is just trying to affix meaning where there is none to stay sane and Kyoichiro is going along with it because he's already in too deep.
Pretty depressing but oh well Senge seems happy even if he's only deluded himself into it. He's got a twink who'll do anything he says and a zombie army to take over the world with, not a bad deal for all the suffering. And there’s Koko’s route done. To be honest, I liked it a lot, though that might just be because I'm rebounding from Mio's route. The story was actually coherent. The pacing was weird, as usual, and there were a few corny details, but everything at least made sense. I’m also a big sucker for stories where characters that were abused get healed. That’s the good kind of healing, even though it lends itself to a higher amount of melodrama. This is probably my guiltiest pleasure. Asuku sort of fit in this category, but I think Koko’s route was executed better. I'm still pretty disgruntled at the way Asuku's route ended. I was drawn to Koko while I played the other routes because he seemed kind and housewife-like, and while I was a bit taken aback by the fact that he slept around so much, because I usually hate those characters, the later completely unexpected developments made up for it a bit. I had no idea Koko’s story was going to go in that direction. I like Komachi. I want to protect Koko’s smile. Sex scene-wise, it was very refreshing, especially after the uncomfortable mess that was Mio’s scenes. However, I was actually so engrossed in Koko and Hisora admitting their feelings for each other that I skipped over parts of the last sex scene because I wanted to hurry up and see how they would reunite in the real world.

Regarding bad endings, the tentacle one was pretty grody, and by that I mean pretty good. Before going in, I was thinking about how Koko liked cooking so much, and also took note of how he said he wanted to eat Hisora right up, so I was really hoping there’d be a bad end where he ate Hisora. No such luck, though. I was, and still am, pretty let down.

Last is Naruomi. This better be a wild ride since you guys told me to save him for last.

Yeah, I thought it might be the case that it's just way too girly and cheesy to get through. I'm surprised you can stomach even otome games, since they tend to be made for a younger target audience and be especially strong on the cringe factor. I get secondhand embarrassment from the VAs who have to read the goofy lines sometimes.
I'm more of a shipper so I also play from an observer type viewpoint. It's a much better place in the audience to watch a kusoge completely fall off the rails, but it's true that "decent" is about the highest quality you can expect from an otome game and most of them end up being horrible in one way or the other (but I've come to kinda enjoy that).
I've been delaying Taisho x Alice and Shinigami to Shoujo in my backlog for a multitude of reasons, but part of it must be because that's the alleged peak кино of the genre and I'm kind of afraid of having nothing to look forward to after that. I think most of the enjoyment from these games is definitely dependent on just personal taste, the genre or maybe demographic itself turns into a constraint that doesn't really allow for the type of more interesting stories you get from regular VNs.

Takeru has the most romantic route and the best sex scenes, and he (and Towa, I guess) is the only guy who actually pursues Tasuku.

Yael felt like they were getting somewhere then the game ends, I did find his two endings surpringly touching in a depressing way. I think he was the most Parade like character in the sense he didn't seem to like the sex, but then he gets more and more into it.

Ango felt like an afterthought because I don't feel like he spends enough time with Tasuku. Sex wise he's okay, somewhere between Takeru and Yael. He has a very important role plot wise, but I didn't get his importance until I played the other routes. I got queasy reading his torture, and only read the parts about the sliced ear, being partially skinned, and getting his balls crushed. I felt so sorry for him, but I understood why Towa felt like they had to go through that route. I didn't like Tasuku forgiving him, but that's probably because I don't like Ango/Tasuku.

I liked the story, there's some minor stuff that didn't make sense, and I'm not sure I understand the soul bonds, but all the routes and characters felt consistent story wise, except maybe the Makoto stuff during Ango's route.

I'm currently on Towa's route, which I thought was going to have some type of golden ending but I'm not sure anymore. I think after I clear Towa's route, I can access a third ending for everyone, so I'm hopeful.

Finished Towa's route, and it ended more or less how I assumed it was going to end. It was honestly a bit disappointing, and I wish Parade had given us more time with the characters. Given it's only their third game, maybe they're trying to test different approaches. N+C found that pointless edge works for them (proven with Nitro+ games before the CHiRAL sub-studio made TnC), and other studios had basically taken Otome games and flipped the protagonist's gender to M while adding more porn scenes. Parade seems to be trying to find an audience that lies somewhere between "horny" and "story-focused" with MC being the top as their unique selling point.

I think Lkyt is the best Parade game yet, but I don't value sex scenes as much as some other people. I liked the story, and while I did find the romance kinda half-baked, (especially considering that love is supposed to be an important theme) the game is at least more romantic than NTY/RN9.

It's actually goofy fun if you keep your expectations lower; I think it gets more of a bad rap than it really deserves. Cons are wonky Yura art and an abysmally difficult system (if I'm remembering correctly) to fully complete the game. You need a guide to get all the CGs and need to do a lot of multi-save/reload shenanigans because there is a ranking system (C/B/A/S) for how well you do on the rape missions, which your choices are not very clear about what ending you'll suddenly get. Pick a random thing? Mission failed --> C. Some CGs are tied to shittier ranks too. And I think you can't select the missions again after the rank is added, so you need to ensure you have backup saves since you can't just endlessly select them from the main menu(?).

I did peruse the GameFAQs guide again and I think I remember why I ended up not finishing the game.
