Agreed, but OP is not trying with a scientific or philosophy based claim. It's just a theory without base or sense.

The reason that the danmaku can't kill the touhou unless it hits the very center of them actually isn't that scientific. The screen is angled such that you can look down on your character at about a 60 degree angle. This makes it appear that when a danmaku misses, that it is going through them. This isn't the case, it just completely missed their torso. Because a danmaku emits light, from overhead, it looks like the danmaku might be going over the touhou, but it isn't.

I'd draw a diagram of some sort, but I don't feel like it.

You're implying that nanomachines were mentioned in the games before that?

Oh ho.

protip: danmaku translates to "bullet curtain" or "curtain fire". It does not refer to a single bullet inside such a formation.

That's why I call them 'danmakuballs'

>> No.2551564

>>2551550
But saying "danmakuball" doesn't sound quite right either... I just considered danmaku being made out of individual danmaku. Like how buffalo is just a bunch of individual buffalo.

Or I could have just used the catch-all word "bullet", but that would exclude a lot of danmaku types (knives, cards, needles, etc.)

Projectile.... I can agree with that. Danmaku still sounds better, but I can live with calling them projectiles.

He never said anything that would imply otherwise.

If someone says an airstrike misses, would you correct him saying that it's the bombs that missed?

That sorta makes sense, but then by that logic, the hitbox should be the width of the character.
