firebug is a firefox extension that makes it easier to analyze a page's source code. Right click anywhere and select "inspect element" or click on the bug icon in the status bar, then search for "swf".

Yes it's true that Mario was marketed as a cartoon, but said cartoon could have been anything. He didn't have to be a plumber in a red/blue jump suit. He could have been a blue hedgehog. Shiggy made a game about an ape, it sold millions. Shiggy made a game about an elf and it sold millions.

Mario out sold its competition because a) it was the first of its kind and b) it was the best of its kind. I can guarantee you it didn't sell 40+ million copies because it was a game about an Italian plumber wearing a red and blue jump suit.

Difficulty hits a brick wall with the moving UFOs part. Too boring doing the static platform climb over and over to get there.

In Firefox just go to Tools > Page Info > Media and it will list everything on the page. For flashes look for .swf

Why would you use firebug or any other extension?
Ctrl-U to view page source. Ctrl-F and search for ".swf" would get you the link.

Those are the only two .swf in the page source with no direct link to it. I knew how to get it myself without asking but simply going into the page source just doesn't work sometimes.
