First one was when I was far more noobish at writing. I wrote it as I went and made things up on the spot without an actual outline of the entire thing, along with other technical stuff I had not yet learned at the time.

The rewrite is more on thinking things over and using what I learned since then to tell the story with an actual outline of the whole thing from start to finish, trimming out a lot of unnecessary stuff as well. The first chapter of the original was like 10k words, while the rewrite is around 1k.

Unfortunately since I picked up drawing too the rewriting ended up slowing down to a glacial pace.

There's also going to be quite a lot of divergence between the two versions so you're better off reading the original fully if you don't want to wait like 5 years for the rewrite to be completely done. One of the biggest examples is how in the original Demon Realm Silver phases through everything that isn't flesh or itself (IE armor) while in the rewrite it does not, it's just plain metal with magical properties.
