I haven't even edited the sections I added since last time yet, but it should be readable at least.

Oddly enough, this is apparently the longest short story I've ever written, at about 5000 words. Apparently I've given up on most of my earlier ideas long before I reached this point.

There used to be daily yukkuri threads. Usually had a fair number of trolls. Lots of people just did not like yukkuri for whatever reason, and the people who did like yukkuri always had a thread up. People on /jp/ tend to get pissed off if there's a single thread they don't like. If there was any kind of real 'falling out' I missed it after I stopped making threads myself.

Posted this in another thread but might as well repost it.

So I got this idea about an eroge set during the Chernobyl disaster. The main character is a young Soviet scientist that is assigned the task of finding and capturing a young girl in a remote Siberian village whose body gives off radiation. The Soviet Premier wants to use her as a living reactor for his grandest power plant yet, currently under construction near Pripyat. The main character and a group of soldiers travel to the snowy village and find the girl quickly with a geiger counter. She has the ability to control how much radiation her body gives off, but she inadvertinly gives off huge doses of radiation when she's upset. Her own body is unharmed by her radiation. When the soldiers move in to capture her, she freaks out and kills one of them with a large burst of radiation. In revenge, the other soldiers began to rape her, where they find out that sex forces her body to temporarily stop giving off radiation. Semen is a good neutron moderator or something. They capture her and bring her back to Pripyat. As the Chernobyl plant is still under construction, the girl lives with the scientist in his small house in Pripyat. He introduces her to modern conviences like radio and television and takes her out to enjoy the town.

They began to fall in love with each other, and periodically have sex to keep her rads under control. The NPP is completed, and they are going to start testing her. A major town fair is going to start soon, and the main character promises the girl that he'll take her to it if she behaves well during the tests. The girl is placed inside the reactor and at first everything runs smoothly, but soon the girl can't control how much radiation her body is giving off and the radiation levels in the reactor begin to become dangerous. Soon, fires begin to break out and a major disaster is only moments away from occuring. If she goes critical, she could kill the whole town of Pripyat. The main character bravely goes into the reactor and has sex with her one final time to bring her radiation levels down, then he dies of radiation exposure in her arms and they are subsequently crushed by debris. However, thanks to his actions, the release of radiation was relativily minor and few people die as a result.

Another route involves the main character realizing, before the tests, that he would be consigning the girl to a life of virtual imprisonment inside the reactor core, and they decide to run away. The Soviet authorities aren't going to let their potential cold war winner escape so easily, so they send everything after the two. However, they manage to escape to West Germany, but aware that NATO would be just as willing to exploit her as the Soviets were, they live a quiet life on a farm. The main character is now completely sterile so he can cum inside her as much as he wants without fear of impregnating her. He later dies of cancer.

Anyway, I'm trying to decide whether or not to make the girl an alien or not, possibly one that arrived during the Tunguska thing.

I did this the other day, your classic "this is boring but I spent a lot of time on it" style pic, well at least I was trying to be adventurous with the lighting...

Motivated by Suika joining the Hakurei shrine, Yuugi puts on her best suit and applies to help out at the Moriya shrine. Parsee, however, gets jealous that she's spending more time with them than in the underworld with her, and attempts to sabotage her job so that she'll get sent back 'home' with her.

So, I wrote this on a piece of paper during one japanese lesson and quickly copied it to digital form just now. It's basically a draft for a Rin X Akiha doujinshi of my own (tl;dr an otaku's wet dream), too bad I can't draw for shit so I can't produce it. Accompanying is a sketch of my fail.

My name is Tohno Akiha. Due to various circumstances, me and my brother Tohno Shiki ended up in Fuyuki City and were taken in by the Emiya household.

This sure is a weird house. There's one male, Emiya Shirou, and a bunch of females, Saber, Rin, Sakura and Rider, living here. In addition, a lot of people come here just to fool around. And most of them are magi or magical beings to boot. *sips tea * And I can't figure out their relationships at all, this Emiya person seems like Nii-san, all the females just buzz around him like flies.

To speak of Nii-san, he seems strangely infatuated with that glasses-woman Rider. I've noticed him silently staring at her, panting and grasping his chest (Nanaya instincts lol). I guess he really only likes big breasts, like [that woman] Arcueid. -.-

That aside, this girl Tohsaka... *glance * I feel weird when she's near me, like we were somehow connected. There's a tight [warm] feeling in my chest and my hands sweat. ...It can't be I've went and fallen for another girl?! No! That can't be. I mean sure she's pretty and all but she's a GIRL! And she doesn't even have the least bit similar character as I have. She's easygoing, relaxed and spends all her time fooling around, doing pranks and teasing people. (both tsundere-charas lol)

Messing with time and space for fun and profit. Bringing Remi her evening tea from the kitchen, Sakuya passes the sauna and gets a glimpse through the crack of China emerging from the tub. At the sight of China's dripping well toned form, Sakuya's envy finally gets the better of her a second before she leaves the tray frozen in mid air and enters to abuse her authority as chief maid. Don't ask how exactly China can move if time is frozen.
Later in the bathtub with most of the immediate hormone rush out of her system Sakuya is panicking on the inside trying to figure out how the hell all this happened. China's attempt at postcoital cuddling is answered with a knife in the head and Remi gets her evening tea on time.

Sometimes it feels good just not bothering with a plot.

I say this as a writer:

Offering to read something is in no way controlling.

So apparently this thread got shifted more towards the writing side. I'm not saying there is any thing wrong with that, but in general it takes more effort to give critique about stories than it is to give critique for an artwork. It just takes longer to read through several paragraphs than it is to judge a picture by 1 glance. And if the writing is bad, sitting through it isn't as easy as just looking at a poor drawing.

I suggest that if you want to write, share ideas first and establish a short outline with a setting.

For people drawing, keep at it. I've been seeing some good progress.

After finding out what Slushpile editors have to deal with, I can read most manuscripts and make it to the end without crying.

Critiquing artwork is more difficult in my opinion, as it requires a good grasp of anatomy, posing, shading, colors, and such. Whereas if a story is failing to hold your interest or if you don't care about the characters, you can just say so.

Well, the thing about visual art is that any regular person can tell if something looks "off." While it's not really a critique, if a person just says "it doesn't look right to me" they most likely have a point in one way or another.

If we made a new thread for every thing that goes wrong, we would have too many to count. Not to mention some things get disorganized with each transition. I've made the previous 4 or 5 threads since someone started the idea with the 1st one. I don't really care who makes it as long as one of these threads is constantly bumped for people to share their works. If I am around when it reaches auto-sage I'll make another one, given that no one has already done so.
