Okay, I've reached the second twilight of episode two. And I feel like a fucking moron. Am I supposed to be focused on trying to point a direct finger at who did it, or am I supposed to be just focused on the whole "there's witches, and Kanon's doing weird shit" deal? Is episode 2 supposed to be how Beatrice says the shit happened, and not necessarily what events actually occurred? I haven't read Higurashi, and I typically stick to "simple" VNs, so this sort of format is really fucking confusing.

Yes. The only things that really happen in any given world are what Battler sees himself. Anything else is suspect.

If you'll notice, Battler never sees anything actually magical during the stories. No proof of the witch causation. Everything seen by others is probably false.

Oh that's cool. I've already thought of some theories about how much of episodes one and two (that I have read as of yet) could have been pulled off by people, and how it's hinted in the story, but it's only the second episode, after all.

Sorry for not being clear. I'm just confused about which mystery I'm actually supposed to be solving, and how each episode is linked, but I have a clearer idea now.

In fact, who's to say that the red can be fully believed? The justification that the red has to be true is that the red is true, therefore, it is true. Beato never backs up the red with actual evidence.

The only thing that can truly be believed? WITCHES AND MAGIC DO NOT EXIST
