Yet people in this thread like to force their average looks as being somehow good. If you need a bar to measure up with, just look at Hinatazaka, or Nogis. While I don't believe that Dare ga was originally written to be Keyakizaka46's last song, now it is 'the last song' and we've kind of come full circle and I personally find it really poetic. I don't know if it's purely coincidence or if anyone did pick the song (out of the handful of unreleased songs) as the last single with this in mind. Anyway, both Saimajo and Dare ga are great songs and I hope that the new/reborn/renamed/whatever group won't stop giving us such gems.

I don't really understand the reason mngmnt would change our Overture, it makes no sense to me.
I don't like to think we may not have our other songs performed anymore, but somehow it's more understandable since this is the way they chosen, but Overture? Would really be so necessary?

I too think Fukyouwaon is lost. It requires too much from performers, which is one of the reasons other groups may cover it, but it wouldn't have the same impact (only SKE performed it with a similar intensity once) and it's probably the song more linked to Techi for good and bad. Considering mngmnt chose to run away instead of believing in the current members I don't think they'll put it in a future set list if not a modified version, in like 15 years, when former keyaki still in the entertainment may perform it.

Kuroi Hitsuji is the other song I think we lost forever. It's not the song we love more as fans, but for me is the perfect song in term of music, lyrics, performance, intensity. I often wondered how Keyaki could top it and the answer may be they couldn't have.
We'll never know, perhaps that is the creative limit we could reach and surely it's already way out of usual idol music standard.

Even if we aren't considering them right now, we already lost Yuichans songs since awhile and all the solos we had. Techi's had always performed only her last one and Neru and Zuumin solos have not be performed once if I'm not wrong. Correct me if I'm forgetting some perfomance. If I'm not, we already said goodbye to a part of our discography but it had been a more diluted progression than this, so it felt more natural.

Regarding Fukyouwaon: It's NOT in my favorite list... If they decide to exclude it form the repertoire of Toriizaka46 I won't miss it. If we are ever "allowed" to select the most "vulgar" song I would vote for Fukyouwaon hands down. But seriously, how will these girls, under the Toriizaka46 name (or whatever) are EVER going to appear to their fans without performing their ANTHEM. And I repeat: if anyone has the potential right to try to perform it, so does Toriizaka46 (they have all the rights in this world actually!). For me, excluding this song will be once and for all unacceptable and, irrevocably inexcusable!

The same more or less apply to Kuroi Hitsuji but there is a big BUT here: I adore this song and consider it unique among all their repertoire. For me, Kuroi is the "statistical outlier" in an already huge dispersion and variability of styles, content and execution within the Keyaki huge repertoire. It is unique on almost everything, belongs to a category of its own, opened-up a new path for songs (proper or not to follow is totally another huge topic of discussion - in my opinion not) and pushed the group into a completely dark and ominous mood. I also consider THIS SONG (made - intentionally?) to be the one with the most prominent link to Hirate and her aura. So if I had to choose a song to handle down to Tecchi as "her song" among the Keyaki repertoire, that would be Kuroi. All these are therefore more than enough to justify its exclusion from Toriizaka46 repertoire, however these reasons are still not enough to make ME feel happy about this exclusion.

The cover to Nogizaka's 2nd album, Sorezore no Isu, had that era members in blue and red. When mixed together it give us the purple of Nogizaka. I like that metaphor as you remove a few red or add a few blue it still a shade of purple. If your definition of Ace is what management favors, Asuka is already there. It was obvious since Sing Out! last year that she is the current management favorite or ace in your term. She will continuing racking up the centers, but Nogizaka need to add to their ace roster.

If there is a member already as management's ace in the hole, then she should be pushed to that position. They should do it sooner than later, just look at 48G to see the troubles of not preparing succession well.

I like Asuka, and I like Asuka's Nogizaka, but Nogizaka works on a different level with 2 aces. Now that Maiyan is all but graduated it would be there duty to them to crown that 2nd ace or even seek a name change for the group.
