If your 2A spam is timed like exactly wrong, their 2A startup will fit within the gap of your 2A->another 2A. This happens of course a hell of a lot easier the slower your 2A is compared to the waking up character's 2A.
I experience it sometimes with Akiha due to her slow 2A, and even more often with Kouma because his 2A is just as slow (both 5f startup) and his command throws make scrubs think that mashing on wakeup is a smart choice.

Yea GGs, very nice games for 5 delay.
You have quite a bad habit with being too predictable with poking and jumpouts there, but it's pretty normal for low tier I guess. I think all the times you ate a combo from a simple staggered blockstring lectured you enough.
And yea, I like my ribbons, been spamming them in aerial game since I started but you only really learn to use that shit with getting punished enough for doing it badly.
My VAkiha sure was mashy after not playing her for like two weeks and apparently Akiha's jAC jAC jC aircombo is impossible to connect on WLen or something.

Some pretty awesome finishes during those matches, but that TIME UP made me RAGE!! Then I LOL'D. Start finishing up those blockstrings with either a special, mainly 214A, or 5A 66(whiff cancel). You had plenty of opportunities to run up throw me, but opt for restarting that string instead. We both need to work on airthrows as well. So many aerial dogfights won out by jA spam or jB priority... At the end of it all, awesome EX-Punches were awesome!

And I really wished I could've saved that Nanaya AD vs. Sacchin AD whiff! BEST MATCH OF THE NIGHT!

Unless I fuck up and do it to far/early, in which case it becomes the nails instead of the grab. Jumping out is guaranteed to get you out though. Only thing is, if you mis-predict the AD eat you eat a 4k combo. I think someone said in a previous thread that you can even jump out on reaction to the flash, negating the possibility of mis-predicting it.

Quick question about Nanaya's teleport. Is there any visual difference between the overhead version and the version without an attack that always means a grab or do I just have to predict it and react accordingly?

Doesn't seem to work with Satsuki for some reason. I get a shield instead of a grab unless I wait like 1/4 of a second after dashing before grabbing, which makes her dash grab about as fast as Ren's. We can't ALL play Nanaya, you know.

214A for Sacchin is a safe blockstring option only once, after that she has to get a clean hit on the enemy before she can jumpcancel it again. I don't recommend. Sacchin's ground dash is useless and you don't grab with Satsuki, you EX bite and that's usually upon landing from air.
Sacchin's blockstring reset is IAD jC which happens to be insane good, until people learn to shield it and then mixing in IAD 2C will kill them.
AFAIK, played quite a lot against Sacchins.

Er, sorry about that. Habit I picked up playing friends who are worse than me so I don't get into one character too much (it shows with how incompetent I am with all of them!). I wouldn't mind normally but they're extra dumb in netplay. It always gets really stupid eventually, regardless of the player. At least you can do the whiff cancel against most characters.

I've had too many experiences with 'lol i jA u' to count. Basically all I can think is "not this shit again," and I just pick ciel (or nanaya) and autopilot, since it really isn't fun at that point anyway and the goal becomes to punish their mindless jA mashfest.
