I know the odds of getting help on here are slim but I'm a stupid American dumbass who can't speak Japanese and I need to play this game to stop the suicidal delusions and I can't get it to work.

So I guess I installed it right, and then I opened the icon it made on my desktop, and I guess the client started installing/patching itself to my computer. I was told it would take a few hours, so I left for a few hours. I come back and it seems to be still, but the big button next to the status bar thing on the bottom can't be clicked, so I left again.

I come back even later and it is in the same exact state on the same thing. So I think maybe I need to restart it and do it all over again. So I exit the client and restart it. Now it just displays a message rather than an uploading like thing. However, the button can still not be pressed. Nothing I seem to do restarts the client's installing. I don't even know if it ever finished or not.

So I think "Great, now I have to start allll over again". So I uninstall everything the client installed, and delete everything except the boot file, which won't delete. I get it all removed from my computer with the uninstaller. I then reinstall the client and try to start over fresh.

However, it still displays the same message it displayed before after I first closed it and the button is unpressable. All the things it installed are gone, and even though I started from scratch. it won't start installing itself again.

So. Now what do I do?

I'm still installing/patching the client. I've been stuck on this step for hours. I know the process as a whole is supposed to take hours, but I don't know if this is one that takes hours on it's own or if there is something wrong.

Hey, the guy whose installer kept getting stuck here.

So my game finally installed. All I had left to do was try and login to see if my blind attempt at making a Nico Nico Douga account actually worked. So I try logging in.. and the game freezes up and stops responding. I try again, and it does it again. So on and so forth. Every single time I try and login, my game freezes.

I'm starting to think otherworldly or supernatural forces are trying to stop me from playing this game.

At this point I'm thinking that even if I get into the game, the lag will probably be too much for me to even play the game. Because that is my kinda luck.

Yeah, my shit has been set to Japanese for a long time now. Needed to do to play Chaos;Head. I never tried using applocale with this though, I'm not sure how 100% but I'll see if I can figure it out.

My problem isn't that it won't log in, though. The game stops responding and everything freezes up. I have to enter Task Manager to close the program.

Running it in Applocale worked. That was my problem. Now I am getting an error when I try to login but I'm assuming the error is telling me that my Nico Nico Douga account doesn't exist or was not confirmed since I made one (correctly, I think) but never got my confirm email.

I'll post the error anyway, just in case.

Also, quick question. When logging in, do you put your Nico Nico Douga username or the screen name you used to create the Nico Nico Douga account?
