I have determined that Archer is in fact a goth. Think about it.

- He writes angsty freeform poetry ('unknown to death, nor known to life', 'have withstood pain to create many weapons, yet these hands will never hold anything')
- He bitches about how his past self was naive and stupid, and the whole world is darkness, and life is pain, etc.
- He wears mostly black, with only red to color it - and the only red he wears is funeral cloth anyway.
- He's obsessed with blades and cutting himself (his past self, but still himself)
- His hair has been turned from its vibrant orange to a monochrome color.

- It's not blade obssesion, it's his fucking existence. Also, second argument is really more of a joke

I think that Archer is a Terminator unit. Just look at the evidence:

I am the bone of my sword.
(Doesn't make much sense now, but...)

Steel is my body, and fire is my blood
(Now we realize he's saying he's made of molten metal.)

I have created over a thousand blades (Terminator units can construct simple weapons using their bodies. See also line one.)

Unknown to death. Nor known to life.
(Terminators are not really mortal in the common sense, so death is practically impossible for them. They also are not really living like normal people, since they are machines)

Have withstood pain to create many weapons.
(Apparantly, those speedy blade transformations hurt.)
