Because it's Shirou with genuine conflict as opposed to Shirou with a path of discovery. Heaven's Feel, despite Nasu's bitching, is the closest throwback you get to Tsukihime with mindfuck, surprises, and the batshit cruel nature of mankind to even small children and puppies.

Ah. You are under a common misconception. Heaven's Feel is not about Sakura. Sakura is needlessly shoehorned in, and takes Saber, Lancer, Berserker, and Gil away with her existence. We won't begrudge her that last one because he's a dick. Heaven's Feel is about Ilya and Kotomine.

I don't get all the Zouken hate. I absolutely loved the guy.

It's a shame Gil got killed off like that though, I mean god damn he's the fucking King of Heroes, he survived being covered in all the evils of the world but an erotic black hole kills him instantly? They could have at least have had him resist a bit more.
