I've seen people calling her Satako hundreds upon hundreds of times, in all sorts of contexts and even weird places like the filename of a SFM Satoko model. It's WAY more common than is reasonable, and I just don't get why. What's the deal? I can imagine many reasons or explanations, but it's still fucking ridiculous how frequently it happens. It's bizarre. It's on the level of native speakers misspelling "separate" or confusing "effect" and "affect". It's THAT frequent, for some strange reason. No other Japanese name gets misspelled this often in the same fucking way.

It's very ironic that CIA/Battler asks this, as he himself is the reason. Kanon is very loyal towards the family he hates, to which he is supposedly only bound by his salary. We could also see a cleverly disguised reference towards the silver spoon scene in episode 1, if we read the line as "A lotta loyal tea".

Why would someone draw a magic circle while trying to supposedly hide a corpse? Why the epitaph? Banetrice is trying to get Battler to think about why Beato's action are often irrationally: he needs to think about the WHY, the heart of the mystery.

If you're still searching for conclusive answers or a single truth in Umineko you missed the entire point of the VN. How many times did the game have to tell you that in a catbox all varying truths are valid and the actual truth of what happened on Rokkenjima doesn't actually matter. In chapter 5 Ryu07 brought the point that a mystery should have a reachable conclusion up himself.
When Battler and Virgilia theorized about the truth of the game and compared it to a mystery novel, the solution they found was that in order to have a functioning relationship between reader and author the novel has to be solvable with the clues given until the finale. And in fact, that's how each of Beatrice's games worked.
So it's not hard to assume that the same is true for Umineko as a whole. Just saying "there isn't a real truth anyway" is nothing else than you stopping to think about the story and giving up.

That was never what this discussion was about lol. Umineko can be a pure mystery or a pure fantasy regardless of if Bern and Lambda are representative of specific aspects of Umineko (which the story makes really obvious is not the case) or more broader cocnepts.

On a side-note Lambda protecting the catbox in Ep. 8 makes no sense with her representing the witch hunters who desperately try to uncover what happens, while Lambda is fighting to keep it secret. If you wanna have a dumb theory it would make more sense for Lambda to represent the explosion, afterall that certainty allowed the mystery of the witch to exist and kept any family theory at arms length. That being said she is obviously a more overarching concept of certainty that also ties into Satoko and Takano among other things.

All of the mystery scenarios introduced in the story are solvable, and the answer is even given to you, albeit in a roundabout way. Even ignoring the manga, having in mind the entirety of Chiru is really hard to make a decent alternate theory at this point, honestly. Akihito's character is based on some guy who cucked Ryuukishi's dad IRL. He wrote Rosa to be a fashion designer like Rena's mom so he could bring Akihito back in that Tsubasa side story and imply that he eventually dumped Rena's mom. Which means the guy is probably a fashion designer too. Maybe Rena's mom worked at Rosa's company the whole time after leaving her untalented husband behind.

This is a bit of a crackpot theory, though. Reminds me of that one theory that proved Ooishi is Hideyoshi's uncle because he and George have the same yellow jacket.

I got little confused after third Higurashi chapter, in all cast review they were saying that next chapter will be maekashi, with Shion as main character.
