Two cups peanut butter, two cups water, 1/4 cup soy, some sambal oelek or any kind of chili paste, 1/4 cup white vinegar, pinch of salt. Heat in pot and mix until smooth. Serve with white rice. Made in bulk this is cheap, nutritious and filling, not to mention traditionally Asian.

Next recipe:
Buy cheap-ass pork meat, cut into pieces and drop into a bowl. Cover the meat with 50% oil, 50% sprite, crush as much garlic as you feel comfortable with. Let sit for 24 hours. Fry in pan. Keeps for about five days, basically forever in a fridge, and just happens to taste like liquid sex.

Next up: King Dong Chicken Soup
Buy a frozen chicken (usually ~$3) some potatos, a leek or two, three stalks of celery, a bell pepper and two onions and a cheap beer.

Cut everything into little pieces. Cut/tear the chicken into like ... eight pieces, boil everything for ~20 minutes. Remove the chicken. Mix everything else into a smooth paste with a fork.
Remove the bones from the chicken, add them to the soup with salt and some hot sauce/chili peppers/whatever. 3-5 servings. Keeps for about three days.

Honestly, food itself is very cheap if you do not splash out on stupid products, no matter what life style you have.

And I take that NEET life basically consist of sitting in front of a computer. Thus, very little exercise -> lowered need for nutrition -> you do not need to buy so much food.

I'd go with salads and vegetables plus cheap stuff like pasta or whatever. Vitamin supplements to take care you do not develop any malnutrition disorders.

It is, for a little while. Pasta, when combined with not excercising tends to make you FAT. and I would know, I was on benefits for 2 years and ate nothing but cheap pasta and shit like that (no fast food, no beer, no candy) and I gained something absurd like 60 pounds in that time. Like I said, good in theory.

How much money do I need to save up before I can become a Neet?

I'm currently an Auditor living in NYC. I make about 60 grand a year with a raise every year. I'm planning on saving about 600 grand before I become a neet which shouldn't be that hard after I get several certification tests done. I plan to do all of this in about 10 years, the only that worries me is the health insurance. I don't have a car but I do have a mortgage that might set me back so I'm thinking about renting the place out.

Reimus "Another week without donations" Chili.
You'll need: half a pound of ground meat, I use pork. One chili pepper, two cans of beans, a quarter pound of bacon, two cans of crushed tomatoes, two onions, one can of mushrooms.

Chop the veggies and pan-fry them until they've got some measure of colour. Meanwhile, in a different pan, fry the bacon and the ground meat until it smells like win. Mix them both in a large pot. Add beans + chili pepper. Boil on low to medium heat for five-odd minutes. Serve with rice.

1up Mushroom Salad
One pound of mushrooms, a tablespoon of mustard, a tbsp. of vinegar, a tbsp. of oil and a crushed garlic clove.

Chop the mushrooms (~$4.50) finely. Mix everything else into a smooth sauce. Mix shrooms and sauce into one big mess. This one does not keep well, but it should last a day or so. Serves four, adjust recipe to mouths to feed-ratio.

I don't give a fuck. I'm spitting hot fire.

I SPIT HOT FIRE

Meilings "Sakuya didn't feed me. AGAIN." Potato Surprise.
Several potatoes, one onion, half a leek, random meat. Butter.

Heat the butter until it's brown. Finely chop the potatoes until they're about twice the size of a french fry. Fry them in butter for 10+ minutes on medium heat, add the meat. When the meat seems "okayishly done" add the rest of the veggies and keep frying. When it "looks done" take it off the stove. Let it cool for five minutes.

I used to cook this for a hardcore neet friend of mine and he loved it since it's warm, easy to eat and didn't hurt his wallet none. If you live in a village or city (mid-size towns are outta luck) you can get everything except the meat for free so the the dish total runs you about $6. Serves four, keeps for about five days.

Huh, if I remember correctly I had a recipe for soybean sprouts.

Basically you need some soybean sprouts (forgot how much), soy sauce, a pot ( or something to boil stuff in), black pepper, and some deep fried onions(optional).

all you need to do is boil the sprouts until it's edible, drain out the water, and pour the soy sauce , black pepper, and deep fried onions over it.

The core components of the cheap diet:
1. Dried lentils (best value protein)
2. Rice or pasta (best value calories)
3. Frozen mixed veg (best value vitamins and phytonutrients, cheaper and better and easier to prepare than fresh veg. Microwaving is the best cooking method to preserve all the nutrients)
4. Oil (fat is an essential nutrient). Olive is best if you can afford it. Avoid omega-6 fatty acids because it's near impossible to be deficient in them, and you want them to be in balance with the much more expensive omega-3 fatty acids.

Supplements to the cheap diet (whenever you can afford them):
1. Fresh Atlantic mackerel, steamed. This is the best fish you can get, and in the UK at least it's reasonably priced!
2. Eggs
3. Ground beef or turkey. You don't need much of this.
4. Hot sauce. Makes everything better.
5. Salt. Not much of this either, unless you're sweating a lot.
6. Various spices.
7. Tea
