Yeah, that's what I thought. But then I realized that they probably won't be that stupid.

1)Activate the game
2)Go to Windows Explorer, game folder, Tools->Folder options, and made sure that, Hidden files are shown, protected operating system files are shown.(uncheck the option)
3)Run the game, and make sure the game is running fine
4)Look in the game directory and see if there's a new executable which is hidden/system and has weird names, make a copy of it, then close the game
5)Upload said executable( you won't be able to run it, yet, at least not until someone does things to it!), post link here and wait some half an hour!

I quickly looked over the files. It looks like the .lst file contains the information on how to split the big file.

The first 4 bytes of the .lst file is the number of files in the big file. The rest of the file is split in segments of 76 bytes.

Those segments contain: 4 bytes file offset, 4 bytes file length, 8 bytes random shit I can't make sense of (filename ?). Unfortunately, some of the bytes are slightly increased/decreased.
For example, the second file offset in the sound .lst file is 0x57 A9 01 01. The real offset is actually 0x00 00 A8 56. I've looked at a few files. It looks pretty randomly to me but I guess you could figure it out with some time. I can extract most files manually.

The real exe is encrypted with AES, and mangagamer's server tells the decryption key and the IV to the program when the user registers. The only solution is getting the decrypted exe from someone who bought the game.

Ok, I copied the japanese exe in the folder and renamed lcsbody and lcsbody.lst to lcsbody1 like the original game. You get a 'can't find shit' error if you don't rename them.

Person A buys a game, but they just give him a coupon to print where he writes his serial and sends it by mail. Then the company sends him the cd with the game.

Person B has the coupon but no serial. It's impossible to get the company to send him the game.

The only way for person B to get the game is asking person A to burn a copy and send it to him.

The other two options left but practically impossible would be to assault the company's offices (hacking the server) and get the game or join random bytes together and hope you get the same bytes as the game as in the infinite monkey theorem (this would equal to bruteforce the decryption key).

We are person B, the game is the decrypted executable and instead of regular mail, the internet is used. And there's no person A.

As you see the obstacle is because of a "physical barrier" rather than due to lack of knowledge.

It's either that or a known-plaintext attack on AES --- we do know the first few hundred bytes of the decrypted file since it's the standard EXE header. Too bad that's impossible.
