You guys (the fans) are pretty much just projecting whatever is most popular onto the characters. IN that sense 2hu and touhou are two different stories which only share names. Touhou characters are almost all such entities that human ages and aging patterns are irrelevant. A character would really only be a milf if she had come to gensokyo as already an old woman or was the yokais age of a milf. Yukari for example is not a milf at all, likely more youthful than reimu but is seen as one because fans started going from lolis to milfs in what they wanted. In reality all of touhous characters are just doll like in appearance and cannot be ascribed things like "milf" or "loli".
