anime and manga won't strip me naked and have a throng of goat-people eat me. Then revive me numerous times to be eaten again, until it becomes boring.

There's a difference in observing something with the laws of it's own universe and trying to observe it with the laws of that which is considered to be reality.

Yeah. Someone who doesn't exist repeatedly demands Battler strip naked, lick her feet and be made into furniture. I want whatever it is Battler is smoking, and if he's been featured three times in a row in the Psychiatrist Today magazine.

Someone should make a comic of this scene which could sum up the "argument" nicely:

Beato - "If you believe it in manga and anime, why won't you believe in meeeeeee??"
Battler - "I DON'T BELIEVE IT IN MANGA OR ANIME EITHER!!"
Beato - "...."
Ronove - "Snap!"

Goda laced all the food with LSD and Battler is actually arguing with Beatrice's portrait.

Stripping yourself naked and trying to be dominated by a painting must be pretty embarrassing.

The explanation for the murders is that everyone saw Battler doing that and started mocking him when his trip ended. This taunting caused Battler to go on a shooting spree which ended with him killing himself after everyone else was dead.

how do you know the people in this forum are not of your imagination? can you prove it?

Battler is imagining everything. He has gone crazy from 6 years of playing too much VNs and watching too much anime. A japanese family with euro names? please. he said he played higurashi and then bernkastel pops up and basically affirms she's rika and says nipa and everything? CRAAAAZYYYYY

I love how the game tries to present the "cat box" as some sort of deep philisophical questions. Look. Weather or not a cat exists int he damn box is something that's decided by IF THERE IS ACTUALLY A CAT IN THE DAMN BOX! What people believe has NO BEARING, NO IMPACT on the physical reality of what's in the damn box. God!!

Sigh. Schrödinger's Cat deals with the uncertainty of quantum mechanics, not with wether a cat is dead or alive. The fact itself exists outside of our bliefs.

The uncertainty of quantum mechanics is better explained with an example. The most famous being the fact that we can´t tell wether or not THAT FUCKING CAT is alive or dead.

>> No.2390543

>>2390117
First of all, quantum mechanics are unpredictable in some degree because our understanding and measurement techniques aren't quite there yet. What Schrödinger was trying to illustrate was that using quantum mechanics it was impossible to determine wether the cat would live or die, and could not be known until it was observed. You can try to read deeply into it make some wierd philisophical point like what Umineko tries to do (the reality is what is observed, there are infinte possibilities, etc). FACT IS there is NO "possibilities" we live in an asolutely deterministic world in which every action has a reaction. Japanese artists really struggle with that concept apparantly. Adn even IF there was a perfectly even chance of the cat living or dying, the way it falls has to do with if an atom decays or not, not what you believe is the case inside the box.

The story does a better job exploring more human-level things like the love or hate viewpoints. If you view someone with love, you see things completely differently than someone who views the same person doing the same things with hate. So Battler would see Eva in a different light than Ange.

>> No.2391482

You guys keep looking at this from the wrong angle. Battler isn't trying to prove Beato isn't real, he's trying to prove that the witch didn't do the murders (or more specifically, that a human COULD commit the murders). Whether Beato is real or not is not his concern, and she likely is real (we've already known there has been a human Beato in the past anyway).

End of EP4
bern and lamba think she threw the match as a part of northwind sun strategy using her acting skills. Lamb easily beat battler's arguments and she thought beato should have been able to do the same. I think clearly she got emo and seriously tried to throw it.
