- Quest of the Star (not the title, for obvious reasons) - Meteor crash large enough to shake up the entirety of Gensokyo. While Reimu and Marisa, and possibly Sanae since she's getting major spotlight now, are the IN team-styled mains resolving the issue, I made Kaguya/Eirin another playable team since they figure it may be another launch from the moon to collect her.

- Star princess (ability to see everything) w/ obvious star pattern attacks, her servant (heavily based off of Youmu, except with a fencing swordplay), and 4 other random Gensokyo characters I haven't thought up yet. Since they'll be roaming through the forests again, mght be a good time to have Wriggle/Mystia/Rumia fight Prismriver style, but that would put Cirno as a mid-boss, and that's a no-no. May even run into each other hindering one another from getting too close to the meteor.

- No new setting. Same old Bamboo Forest > meteor crash site.

- Multidimensional grazing analysis option included by default.

- Offline mode for BI analysts who travel.

Gimmick: RPG done in a classic FF6 style with most of the cast of Touhou as playable characters. Each character will have a unique set of abilities as well as generic ones and weapons and armor to match their theme (e.g. Youmu uses different types of samurai swords while Marisa uses upgraded forms of her Hakkero)

New Characters:
Fuck it I'm too lazy to conjure up a villainous character, but no doubt it will be a male (since female villain touhou characters have a tendency to become good guys later on in canon or fanon).

New setting:
Gensokyo will be the main setting of this game though at points, the villainous character will threaten to breach into the real world, drawing Reimu into the conflict, among others.

The plot will focus on a mysterious new large building that suddenly appears in Gensokyo and the chaos surrounding it. Gimmick will be card and gambling based ways to gain bonuses and increase your score.

In the end after beating the shit out of everyone you'll discover this new building is some kind of magical casino that a group of youkai decided to create to liven up their boring lives.

Everyone drinks tea and lives happily ever after.

To add on, character designs will focus mostly on western clothing. There will be no animal youkai bosses, first boss would in fact be another human who'd be vaguely hinted at to be a witch or just a human studying magic.

Half the game would take place in a outside setting and the rest within the building itself, soundtrack will be mostly upbeat or mysterious tunes. Character count bumped up to 4, character variants knocked down to 2. Playable would be Reimu, Marisa, Aya and Yuka.

Extra boss would be the actual mastermind behind the incident with the final boss turning out to be just a " manager ".

I've been playing a lot of dodonpachi recently, so...

- There's a chaining system that also multiplies higher as you keep grazing and have higher grazes, kind of like th11 except you have to keep continually killing enemies as well as grazing for maximum score.

- Reimu is the red ship and Sanae is the green helicopter (There is no Marisa to mark the end of ZUN's legacy, and finally the game's icons will have Sanae instead)

- You time travel throughout different era's of gensokyo, from the prehistoric pc-98 era to the holocaust of Kappa's to the, to a post-apocalyptic GRIMDARK gensokyo

Team nine (Cirno and company) are the only ones immune to a spell that steals the age of youkai and humans turning them into lolis. They must go on an adventure to beat adult copies of themselves and find the culprit.

The "new" characters will be revamps of PC-98 characters.

Mima will be back as a majin, and will be at least on par HAX wise with Yukari and Reimu.

Kotohime will be back, but this time she will be full blown police woman moe, seeing how we already got another princess character.

Shinki will return with the same design, but with the added ability to morph into any of the other characters. However, for a big twist, she will be like Deadpool/Joker/She-Hulk in the fact that she'll constantly break the forth wall, remember that she used to rule Makai, will know Alice, as well as know all about the other characters up until this point.

Yumeko will be her midboss, instead of a maid though, she's a lawyer. Briefcase danmaku.

Chiyuri, Rika, and Ruukoto will also return.

Gimmick - Compilation of the Windows series crossed with rRootage using as many game systems as I can get away with. If both players choose the same character in IKA mode, player 2 plays as Lily White copying the other character.

Story: as the years have passed, Reimu, Marisa, and Sakuya have aged quite well and have passed away. You get to play 1 of 3 teams. one to save each respective heroin. Alice/Patchy to save Marisa, Anon/anon (because you know they need their sweet, sweet armpits) to save Reimu, and Remi/Flan to save sakuya from the fiery pits of hell. And once rescued are granted eternal youth for more games to be made.

-Humans invade Gensokyo, using various weaponry and massive airships. They're trying to conquer what's essentially the last piece of sustainable land left, and they will trample anyone to do it.
And a return of huge mech mid-boss fights. I want to see Reimu shooting down humongous floating bases.

Gimmick: youkai mess up things for shits and giggles, grumpy shrine maiden and bored magician investigate.
- Characters
- Mushroom youkai that oversees decay. Stage 1 boss, attacked because she smells of rotten corpses. No one likes that shit. Spellcards could be shit like Lysis "Live Decomposition" and "Return to Carbon Cycle. "
- Abura-akago girl that controls viscosity. Shy loli with a lamp with her. Confused for a djinn due to that lamp and beaten on the way so that she would grant the players' wishes ("Donations? I d-don't have any money...but I can give you this instead" during midboss conversation, then she drops the usual Stage 2 midboss bomb. ) Youmu-esque annoying gimmick that randomly speeds up and slows down bullets, probably making a lot of deathwalls.
- Some loli that controls parasites. Stage 3 boss. Should ride a giant tapeworm. Hell, if ZUN can have random mouse youkai, she might as well be half-tapeworm. Tapeworms are hot.
- Stage 4 boss loli should put up an antimagic field. Immune to bomb/shots for certain durations, a lot of gimmick cards.

- Stage 5 is a homage to Dwarf Fortress, you are going to fight Urist Axebeard while he is throwing a dwarven tantrum. Probably while inside Boatmurdered. Midboss is a carp.
- Stage 6 boss is a loli that controls genetic code. She's a human chimera (not the mythological one, genetic chimera) of which secondary set of cells developed their own awareness when she turned youkai. Hence two sisters sharing the same body. Spellcards are genetics-themed, final spell is Youkai Genome Project. Opened the border and let in all sorts of random animals, but claims to be unable to solve the incident. Well fuck. On to extra boss.
- Extra boss is a shiri-me (Google it) that left Japan for a world tour and recently returned. She figured the best way of greeting old friends is breaking open the border a bit. Power is control of legends, she can use all eyeball monster-related abilities due to that. Kind of like Wallachia. All cards are eyeball-themed obviously.
New setting: Gensokyo now has dwarves. Male dwarves. Enjoy your new doujins.

For every egg you blow up with danmaku, you get a percentage bonus to points. You must blast at least 5 of them apart in a stage to clear: 10 in each to get the good end.

>Dinosaur Touhous
A t-rex, a triceratops, a raptor, an Anklyosaurus, a brontosaurus (Not an apatasaurus (sp?)), a Stegadon, and a couple of other dinosaurs. Herbavores first. Final boss would be a meteorite touhou.

Gensokyo gets reverted to the age of the Dinosaurs for some reason, and Reimu goes out to fix this mess.

- The gameplay is no longer that of a pure shmup, but plays like an halfway house between that and arcade overhead shooters, much akin to The Red Star minus the close quarter attacks but still with 360° shooting. On his scramble towards the boss the player can use ditches in the environment to entrench, allowing only horizontal maneuvers but shrinking the hitbox and prolonging the window of time to death bomb at the cost of halved score points.

- Lolis dressed in military clothes. At least one must also wear a pickelhaube.

- Gensokyo plunges in WWI-like chaos.

Gimmick: You have the option to change shot types in between levels by junctioning the Hakurei yin-yang orbs with different items, such as Reimu's homing talismans, Marisa's mini-hakkero, etc to use that shot-type/bombs.

New setting: A Gensokyo in total disarray after Reimu suddenly disappears several years beforehand. Marisa becomes a youkai. Youkai mountain becomes an advanced metropolis thanks to Kappa technology powered by nuclear fusion, and is protected by Sanae. The human village is abandoned due to rampaging youkai, and Yukari has to stay at the border in order to maintain it. The goal of the game is to find out where Reimu is so harmony can be brought back to Gensokyo.

New characters:
New female main character from the outside world that falls into gensokyo, and the only playable character.

Mima returns as the second to last boss. And she knows where Reimu is

An undead zombie Reimu is the midboss of the last stage. Who is not Reimu, because you're actually playing as Reimu

And the final boss will be Konngara
