Considering that it's the title with the lowest tl percentage other than Rance X (with a stalled TL) and the two BL titles without any TL percentage, I wouldn't expect it this year. It's possible though, if MG gives enough bias to the title to let it slip through the pipeline, and no one would blame Mangagamer for showing favoritism towards an Overdrive game (assuming they know the role of Bamboo in both companies). Overdrive isn't my favorite vn company by a long shot, but it was one of the first ones I was exposed to, so I can't help but be nostalgic and a bit biased for them. Kira Kira was great ... other than the true ending, Deardrops was fun despite various flaws, Dengeki Stryker was /m/fag out of 10, and both Bokuten and Edelweiss are in my backlog. It'd feel wrong for me to not play their final title.

Yes. All other things being equal, gameplay titles with a lot of H-scenes sell the most out of the various genres MG sells. The Rance series is the most famous franchise in that category. Some titles that have gotten on Steam outsell the Rance titles to be fair with Evenicle being the most obvious example due to its similarites. That said, Rance consistently scores high on the overall MG store sales if you look at the yearly sales report. Rance VI has been in the top 10 for every year since its release so far, and it was released at December 23rd, 2016 (2016 being the year it got 4th place). Even in 2019, VI got tenth place while Sengoku got 1st despite already having a fan translation and only releasing September of that year. Judging by Haruka's sales (only got 1st place at 2016, the year of release), I expect Escalayer to make the chart for a year while not coming back afterwards, though it might sell better since Escalayer's anime is somewhat more well known.

If they added an extra programmer or something crazy like that, then I could see RQ being unprofitable. All of that said, MG did spend 5 years on Bokuten, a title which probably didn't sell well because Overdrive titles never seem to sell well, so MG's persistent. If nothing else, I believe that Rance X will come out, even if it's by 2030. Furthermore, dropping Rance would probably sour MG's relationship with Alicesoft. Even if the Rance series ends up being unprofitable as a whole (which is unlikely), that might not be worth losing the potential profits of Evenicle, the Beat titles, or whatever else they decide to release from Alicesoft.

The game is only about as long as VI, with very minimal alternate routes (only the final chapter differs for the various routes). IIRC, Rance 02 < Rance 5D < Rance 01 < Rance IX (side routes included, none which are long) < Rance VI (including postgame which isn't that long) < Rance 03 < Sengoku Rance (assuming you go all 4 routes) < Rance Quest Magnum (without new game plus antics and grinding to fight the bonus) < Rance X. A lot of the length from Rance X comes from how almost every "playable" character has two or three event scenes to themselves and how you'll have to play the game multiple times to get the various endings. Though, even a single playthrough for an A ending takes a substantial amount of time assuming you don't skip previously read text. Playthroughs for B and C endings are usually easier and shorter though while the "epilogue" is sizable but not too long.
