Nobody warned me about the actual hell I'm stuck in. I know barely enough Japanese to recognize errors in translations but not nearly enough to accurately translate myself.

I just played an RPG where a man talking to his subordinate asks of his relationship to his brother, hearing it's contentious and has the threat of mutual death he laments the similarities between his sons and asks the subordinate to make sure that doesn't happen between them. The actual text reads, to make sure the subordinate takes care of the mans youngest son.

It's going to be months before I can play in only japanese and understand things properly, in the meantime any game with a less than perfect translation is going to be frustrating to read.
