If your update got stuck just start again from the beginning. It'll actually begin from where you left off and download the remaining data. You'll notice that when the amount of MB decreases after every restart, and the update will always move at the beginning until it stuck again. Just repeat the process until it finally downloaded the whole thing.

The gameplay is definitely has more depth than CB but everything else is all over the place. Moving portraits for dialogue, voice acting, music placement, sprites, etc are rather subpar and messy. There are some things I can't stand, like your front girl or whatever constantly speaking without prompt and literally using Night of Nights when Sakuya appear in story or whenever she use a Spellcard. Her VA is a huge letdown, too.
On the other hand, CB is still better to look at and the gameplay actually sort of picked up later on. Well, nothing stops me from playing both. Each has something I could still stick with. Hopefully someone will make an english guide for LW soon so I could manage the upgrade and shit.

Events usually add a bit of new stuff and the stages does get more difficult imo. The current event has "race" stage where you have to reach a finish line in linear board. The battle enemies are also a lot stronger and you actually need to put a decent party.

Another big one is that one can very easily back out if, say, minusT suddenly stops making videos. When you've payed for a kickstarter and 5 years has passed and it still hasn't come out, it's not so easy.
A gacha, then, is passable mainly because people know what they're getting into. They're not getting sold something that's essentially air, even if gacha games are also incredibly scummy.

The original Touhoumon hacks are the complete opposite. Stage 1 or 2 bosses would usually be trashmons or essentially early game bugs while everyone who is a playable character or final/extra stage boss would be very good. Some of the different hacks would almost try to power creep each other by adding more and more stupidly strong version of certain characters. I beat her using Guest Reimu, Sakuya and Patchouli. I just kept attacking while using 1 graze each turn until Yukari was at 3 charges and then had Patchouli boost to he max and attack with her first spell (Silent Selene?). Does the 3rd option when powering up regular cards add more effects to them? The 2nd one is obviously powering up the stats of the card.

There are two types of attacks for each character, "spread" and "concentrate", and it is important to use these properly for each stage.

If you use diffusion, you can get a lot of spiritual power ([P] item), so the attack level is likely to rise, and if you use concentration, it is easy to do a lot of damage at once, but it is difficult to collect spiritual power and it is difficult to raise the attack level.

It is also possible to break through the limit by using an item called a doll fee.

This item is currently available only in limited ways, so it is effective to use it only for the characters that it operates.

3 times out of 4 is a quick win. I have reisen in party and use the piercing pistol skill to break her shields till she has 0 and gets a lot of damages (time I use crit buff + spell cards)
Party shields are enough to resist about 4-5 attacks of her but sometime she uses shield regen and things get kind of bad if she is at 3 charges already

Level 50 is where the grind wall truly hits for non whale players. You need to be at least 70 to survive lunatic and the only place to grind is Yukari hard which gives very little XP after going above 50. I've also did all dailies on the almost highest difficulty but even after all that I was only able to get about 75% of the XP bar filled up. They either have to up the XP gained in all missions and facilities or lower the level requirement for lunatic because this shit grind is boring and I can only go so far killing Yukari all day.

Part of this might be an unintentional side effect of the game being released early with only 1 chapter completed so the entire levelling curve and pace are fucked. The devs probably don't intent for people to play through all difficulties yet. Otherwise chapter 2 would need to start at lvl 70 in normal mode once they release it.
