Some quick background - I graduated with my degree in Japanese and have done both formal education and self study. I'm studying N3 material from the 新完全マスター series and have finished the vocab and reading books. I'm currently living in Japan on the JET Program so I'm immersed in and speaking Japanese every day, often going days without speaking English.

My problem recently has been internalizing new grammar points and putting them to use in daily conversations. Sure, a lot of the grammar starts to become situational at this point in study, but I've yet to find a way that really makes it work for me. I used SRS to get all of the vocab in check, and because of living in Japan reading and understanding materials has become dramatically easier, but I still struggle to accurately say what's on my mind.

I really am at a loss when it comes to fully mastering this material before the N3 test. I can bluff my way through and score well enough to pass the grammar portion, but what good is that if I can't reproduce it at work or with my friends. If anyone has something different that they've tried that works, I'd love to hear it.
