I don't have the + one but I do have Juuzo's and his ability only does this only once maybe you get more the more you unbind (I don't knwo the equivalent word for this game) the bromide. I want to try and get some info on the upcoming Scharnhorst/Gneisenau event(?) they teased the other day.

Finally, somehow managed to get Niel before the gacha ends. Despite the fact I haven't been able to save up at all this year and rolling one 10+1 at a time while scrounging up the jewels is really despair-inducing, I got some abnormal luck lately looking at the whole picture. Got Niel on 8th roll and also compu since everyone else showed up before her, including two dupes. Dream gacha really turned out to be dream for me, had especially bullshit luck there and got my top three wanted characters without going until guarantee. I don't look forward to when this turns around.

I'll definitely play it again when it comes out as I did enjoy playing through the main content, and I'd like to explore all the other regions that they add. As a free game you can definitely sink a load of hours into it and you're not losing anything by trying it.

The combat system has potential but at the moment physical damage dealers are completely outclassed by magic damage dealers. The strongest elemental combo in terms of dealing burst damage is fire + electricity - physical characters have to use abilities or charged attacks, which take time, to apply the element whereas magical ones can instantly apply it with their basic attacks. You do get one electro magician from the story, but the pyro magician was locked behind the gacha and I failed to get her despite my many desperate attempts. Unless they buff physical characters considerably, anyone who fails to get the right elemental combo of magic characters will have to slog through higher level battles (even when underlevelled the overload effect still deals retarded amounts of damage).
Fighting something other than slimes or Hilichurls for 90% of the game would also be nice.

Gacha is the next one and I'm not sure how much this will change as they still haven't finalised their model + they'll be adding new characters. You roll the gacha to get characters and weapons only (so far) - rarities go up to 5* for both and I'm not sure what the rates were as they didn't show them. There's a guarantee for at least a 4* weapon, and some characters are only available on a limited gacha that rotates daily. The rate for characters seems to be ok but I swear they game is determined to give me duplicates. I got two 5* characters and a dupe for each one, plus dupes for the other 4* ones I had. Weapons seem to be less common - I never saw a 5* weapon and didn't manage to get that many 4^ ones either.
During the beta we got loads of free currency thrown at us so I could do shit loads of rolling but the gain from playing the game didn't seem that great - once you've exhausted the main quests I fear that it'll turn into a trickle.

Story quests are unlocked based on your adventurer level and at the start you can keep progressing through these non-stop as you get enough XP from the quest rewards. It got to a point though where there was a 5-level gap between my level and the next quest. At this point the only way to gain XP was to do daily quests (4 a day), grind dungeons (consumes stamina, slow recharge rate) or search for every random chest on the map - I couldn't be arsed doing any of the above so I stopped at this point.

Grind - I couldn't be bothered doing much but if you want to level your characters and gear to face high level sponges you'll need to grind a lot. You need level up materials, limit break materials, character duplicates to unlock/boost their skills, more materials to level up skills and attacks, materials to craft the materials that level up your stuff. Don't forget that rather than having one type of item there are a bunch of different ones for each element and class. tl;dr it looks fucking tedious.

And I guess the final point I can think of is content - there really isn't that much with actual substance outside of the story and side quests you find. You have your dailies, dungeons and something like the Abyss from Honkers. Everything else revolves around chests - explore the world, find chests, kill enemies defeating the chests/solve repetitive puzzle to open them, obtain fodder to level up equipment, repeat x however many hundred of them there are. The special event that they ran (lantern festival) was to basically farm the same enemies, craft lanterns and get some items.

tl;dr enjoyable playing through story, combat has issues, possibly slow gacha currency gain, grindy, lack of meaningful content, vast open and empty world

I tried out the new Enstars because why not fall further into the rhythm game hell when I was already rerolling for SBR while maining Deresute, and it's definitely way better than what I thought fujo rhythm games are capable of. I hated when LLSIF introduced their slide notes, never thought it fits their half circle and everything felt cluttered. But here it didn't take long getting used to, maybe because the tapping line isn't curved up all the way to upper part of screen.

I did got to adventurer level 12, and I had a blast exploring the world. It's not as aimless as the other anon suggested, as you get a completion list of sorts with objectives for each area, like unlocking a certain number of teleport points, or defeat some boss. You also get character quest that flesh the story units and help you level up. There are also collectables that are shown in the map when you are close, after a certain amount you get extra stamina.
Sometimes they are just on top of a tree, other times you have to do a puzzle to get them, while they are pretty simple, they do make you search the environment so I thought it was pretty fun, but I can see how some people will find it boring after some 10 hours, since the combat is pretty simple.
As that anon said though, the gacha and upgrade system are pretty brutal, so beware.

I enjoyed exploring the regions, particularly Liyue as it looks nicer than Mondstadt, but once I had reached every teleport, statue and dungeon on the map I had no desire to actively go out and search for chests or those stamina things (plus the growth rate for the number required was annoying). They felt more like the feathers in Assassin's Creed to me but at least the stamina boosts are useful.

I liked Xiangling's quest - I hope all the characters have one that is properly fleshed out.

Using all 6 daily shop resets you can amass a decent amount of resources for Construction each day, but can only build 4 or 5 SSRs total right now this way, plus SRs and Rs.
The game seems relatively generous with gacha tickets and currency so far. SSR Rate is 2% with a 1% Rate-Up for single SSRs. ~12% for SR.
Drop Pool is relatively small, but can get you a good stable of botes.
There are several different shops you can buy botes, one is tied to the daily mission progress and the currency they drop, another is tied to another game type and its currency and probably more I'm forgetting.

Right now equipment is the main boost.
Levels seem next to me, followed by Limit Breaking w/ Dupes.
But, Limit Breaking does 3 things: it unlocks a special effect which seem to taper off after the first 2 or 3, gives a stat boost, and increases the total stats a bote can gain from feeding them fodder.

The fodder boost seems potentially VERY significant except it takes tons and tons of fodder to even begin approaching the initial cap much less the boosted ones.

Starting out just aim for 2 rewards. You'll eventually gain more as you roll more but that takes time unless you're a whale, especially since you've missed out on free shit over the past year. From there start running Aldo or Amy through their dungeons daily and start getting their light up. A lot of people swear by Amy but I personally think Aldo has the most usage and fits easier into a party (XLx2 AoE and slash resistance down is pretty damn good and his VC is solid).

It's one of those things that unfortunately takes time to achieve but eventually you can obtain 250 onto Aldo or Amy and it solves most of your light issues. Shadow is a little different as there's no real good free characters you can grind for right now so it's just a case of hoping you get dupes of shadow characters or wasting your keys on mediocre story characters.

For reference it takes about 10 months to max out light completely (255) for story characters assuming you spend your 4 red keys every single day on that character. This can be shortened if you waste/spend green keys too. There's also the fact you can buy extra keys each week for orbs. So, assuming average luck and buying extra red keys each week, it would take ~3-4 months for Aldo to go from 0 to 120.

Got the warrior (twice) on my 8th and I'm glad I did because he's ridiculously strong for killing bosses. They're not in order but these are all the ones I know are great. Also I'm not sure how powerful 6* really are since 2/3 units sucked because of their kits so unless 6* massively overhauls them and not just stat boost them then they're probably still trash tier.
