How scary is Tomie Unlimited? I'm kind of a bitch when it comes to horror movies in general. I'm okay with slashers, but creepy paranormal shit like The Conjuring is a big nope for me. Tomie Unlimited seems like the latter.

So, I've been watching Radiation House and I think it is pretty good. I really enjoy the twist on the usual hospital shenanigans, now seen from the radiology department side.
I'm new to this JDrama world so don't take my opinion all that seriously.

What a great film. I can definitely see the comparison with Parasite.
I love that they spent the first part of the film showing their love for each other and how much of a 'family' they are. Giving you this vibe that they're lost souls who have found comfort with each other until the sudden hit of realization that they are indeed dysfunctional family(if you can call them one) after the grandmother died. While it's true that they're showing love to the kids, you can tell that they can't raise them properly. It would've been better if both parents didn't realize it instead, but I guess Koreeda wanted a suitable ending(except for the little girl).

Definitely gonna watch Koreeda's other films now.

I think that was definitely the purpose of it. A bittersweet ending, to make you angry. There's a chance for the boy's future now. The older girl have now found out the truth and will go back to her capable family, but all of it in exchange for the little girl's. One of the reasons why the boy's last line is "I purposely get caught".

All I remember is bits and pieces but it was a wonderful movie.

There's a fat couple in a troubled relationship, the girl leaves him I think.
They own a small yellow car and there's a scene of them arguing while inside?
She works out and looses weight dramatically, works at a tv studio?
The fat guy does street boxing for cheap to earn cash, gets his ass beat, chips a tooth, lies to (someone?) about it and says the line "oh, I chipped it eating snowcrab"
A tv crew films the fat dude boxing and while being edited at the tv studio, the girl sees what the guy has been up to and (wants to go back to him?)
All the meanwhile, a hotshot guy is trying to seduce her but is unable, brings her snacks to eat, and when he finds out she's actually into the fat guy, he stuffs his face with the snacks instead in a desperate attempt to get fat for her I guess.

The last scene I remember is her waiting at a baseball field? I wish I could remember more, but my memory of it is very vague. Any help would be appreciated. I've tried searching every now and then but I can never find it. Pic unrelated, just a good show.

This was a solid movie. It never got boring despite being 2 hours long.
