There seems to be decent mods out now for american 360's. Essentially involves changing the firmware on the dvd drive... doesn't seem terribly difficult, though I haven't tried it myself.

I don't think more Japanese games will be coming out for the box in the future. The box sells like shit in Japan and all the past games are developed on it simply because they got their hands on the kit first. I don't think they will continue to support a system that is catered to the FPS crowd.

PS3 is still fucking expensive but things are looking good for weeaboo likes us with Cross Edge, Atelier Rorona and the inevitable port of SO:TLH.

That's why they completely sold out 360's at a lot of locations when Vesperia was released. There are more than FPS games on the 360.

I am aware of that, it's a Tales games and only on the 360 so i guess it is to be expected. People there probably don't even have a 360 so they all rushed to buy one hence the sold out. It was only a spike in the sales and now i bet the numbers sold are low.

I will admit that are a lot more games other than FPS on the 360 and good games still coming out for it but from a weeaboo point of view like me, i can see nothing left for the box.
