As a rule of thumb, you aren't supposed to build a huge army yet while still in story mode. That said, you are able to extend the life of your food stocks by only bringing 1 type of food. ie bread only/grain only.

All food types get consumed everyday because of the additive morale bonuses. If you only bring 1 type of food, the morale bonus is less but much less food is consumed in total.

Yea until the fight with a 1k strong fairy army comes for which you need about a 100 elite troops which require time to muster so I wanted to start earlier but ok.
However supplies remain a problem. I guess in order to prepare for a campaign I could buy a bakery and tell them to stock the produce so I could take it for myself but there's only so much space I have in my inventory even with upgrades so I'll have to put a lot of it in companions' inventories and then back into mine which leads to a lot of clicking which isn't very fun.
And if they think that it works fine in native then tell them I could roll over most of the battles with 60 swadian knights in native and I'm not sure if that will work with unit roster in this mod.
There's a reason modders either attempt to add a foraging skill or increase the unit count of individual pieces of food.

Food is always sold in massive quantities in all goods merchants in all cities. Villages also sell them at lower quantities, but often at a steep discount. I regularly run with an army at my max limit and at worst I just have to stop at a city every few days.

Those massive quantities last my 110 strong brigade about 6 days and with with the size of the map that isn't enough imho. Some towns are clumped together but others like Kourindou or Eientei take several days to get to.
Actual logistics would make for a neat mechanic but here it's just tedious.

Oh, one more thing. Cattle, which you can buy/raid from villages are basically an infinite stock of beef that walk with you, i.e. no inentory slots needed. Yes, that would be enough but there are some inconveniences along the way that spoil the comfy city-to-city tourist gameplay, like for example THE ACTUAL WARFARE. Also not every city will have the same kind of food in stock so you're left with 2 days of bread and you can add to that 4 days of fish which unless transported into companions inventories will just add 2 days. This isn't fun or challenging it's just a lot of clicking.
But 110 troops is not even that bad however when you're around 150-180 the real starvation meta begins.
As for cows... Cows of Mount&Blade are wild and untamable wonders of nature that always go their way and live their lives free. I learned my lesson not to take up the deliver cows to the marshall quests the hard way so I will not rely on them for sustenance either.

-About 21 scene fixes. This should cover most of the really badly broken scenes.
-Implemented a lot more translations and rewrote dialogue to be more properly gendered for a world that's mostly female.
-Companions losing their equipment upon becoming lords was actually corrected. This is semi-savegame compatible. Companions that already became lords won't have their equipment reset, but companions that haven't yet become lords in your savegame will have their equipment properly assigned.
-Debug menus! Now you can skip around storyline sections and add storyline essential companions through the debug menu.
-Several units had their skeletons properly assigned. Lamentably this is not savegame compatible.
-Other bug fixes. I'm not too sure about these but I'll let you all know if there are any major ones I learn about later.

Please keep letting me know about any more bugs or imbalanced features you find! I'll try to diligently correct them all until there are none left.

I reported the polearms thing to the right guy but I suppose it wasn't fixed. They're working at a different pace and prioritizing different things. They're mostly focusing on gamebreaking bugs at the moment, which is reasonable.

Eientei seems to have the best troops by far. Giving them ranged weapons with bonus against shields makes them complete shitwreckers that destroy everything. Fighting SDM mages is a cakewalk by comparison because you don't lose your shield every five seconds. The mod is built to reward you with the best equipment for fighting Eientei and nobody else, with few exceptions. It's kind of odd that if you join Eientei, you can't get all the equipment widely available to the troops there.

So what I'm trying to get at here is, guns need a nerf or other weapon types need a buff. Other factions need good rare drops or Eientei needs its many guns available in stores.

I managed to recruit some Lunatic Echos and I managed to realize how broken the unit is as a result. The enemy had lined up in a row and I situated my army on their side while my allies circled around the other side. Lunatic Echo's Sonic Gun seems to pierce and/or affect an area because about 6 enemies would suddenly be killed by my Lunatic Echos every time I saw them firing. And it has a bonus against shields? And they can fire it 24 times?

I might understand if Reisen was the faction leader and had one for herself, but this is a unit I wouldn't exactly call rare even if it's a special unit. How can other factions even compete? Is the Sonic Gun droppable?

Races are assigned within the script file of the game itself, so outside of actually coding the PC to be a different race, it's not possible at the moment. In the future we'll add more race options to the character creation menu (the whole thing needs a major overhaul anyway). Good news is that the team is working on fixing up the worst models now. I'm not sure how talented they are at choosing and rigging models but something is better than nothing.

I'm still charging through siege scene fixes but progress is coming along smoothly. I think at this point, every single broken scene that was reported to me has a fix for it, although it hasn't been patched yet.

That strongly depends on a lot of things, mostly the moddability of Bannerlord. We know it'll eventually have mod tools, but we don't know if it's possible to do stuff like inject models or swap music yet.

Right now the plan is to continue working on the mod even post-Bannerlord, because the likelihood of the game being functionally moddable is extremely low. However, this remains to be seen. If it turns out that you can do things more easily in Bannerlord and have it look better than it does in Warband, then without a doubt development will be moved to that game. Warband is really fucking old and messy.

Right now my biggest concern is that Bannerlord seems somewhat unstable. It should get better as it proceeds through early access and as the missing features are added, but the cool thing about Warband is that it almost never crashed. I'll be worried if I have to take crashes into account when adding new stuff.

Anyway, right now modding 2hu into Bannerlord doesn't seem particularly possible. Making changes to stats, dialog, units, etc is fairly trivial and it can be done by anyone right now. However, adding assets (excluding sounds & music) like models, textures, and scenes is not yet possible.

Well, based on what I've played of Bannerlord I'm fairly impressed by a lot of it, but it's still clearly early access. The whole base of the game is there, but it's missing all of the bells and whistles that made stuff like Warband actually fun to play. Moreover, unless some code monkey makes a breakthrough in record time, Touhou modding is definitely not possible in the slightest bit. Even trying to add trivial mods to the game causes crashes, which I've experienced with both personal testing and I've read lots of other experienced Warband modders having the same problem.

So! Back to Warband. Bannerlord can be a nest egg for later projects!
