Hey my friend is having problems getting this to work.

We can connect, and it will last for a few seconds, and the game will just shut down and the connection will be lost.

We both have the ports open and what not, however if he tries to connect to me, he gets a timed out error, but i can connect to him.

You should find yourself a good Sacchin player, best way to teach yourself out of overusing 2c is to get raped by iad jc. Because it really is not good practise to poke with it, huge recovery on whiff. I only poke with 2c if I'm really sure it's going to connect, otherwise I use 2b because of clashframe, faster startup and MUCH faster recovery.

Also learn to combo off pillar counterhits and especially not do stupid stuff like pit or ribbon at the end of aircombo. Also get those cornercombos down, they're damn important. AND GODS SAKE DON'T 2C POKE EVERY FUCKING THING. Rather use 5A, 5C or 214A if you want antiair and don't poke at all at stuff half a screen away, especially against Ciel. That's just unbelievably stupid. And random AD whiff really is not what you want to do. The list just goes on, you really have lots of bad habits to get rid of.

The simplest wallslam combo really is nothing hard compared to Akiha's more advanced combos.
Just do shit-> 2C wait 5C 5C 2C. Then you follow up with EX pit most of the time, or if you're low on meter or need the damage, 5[B]B to aircombo.
Takes a bit of time in practise to learn the delay before the first 5C but not hard to do at all when you get it down.

...when I played against you the last time I thought that doing 3000+ combos with ciel out of 2b2b2b and 5cc was somewhat wrong. Like, even my Ciel is better and I don't even play her. You suck at the easiest-to-play char in the game and try to make up for that with cheap keys. Try, for example, j2c 236b 2c2c combo starts, you might be surprised how easy those are. Be crative and fun to play against, dammit.
