Reitaisai will be held in just 2 weeks, whether it will be held or not will show some guideline whether Comiket can go forward. M3 was held about a week ago and apparently there was a clear shortage of attending circles.

Many circles seem to skipping stands and just listing their works at Melonbooks/Toranoana etc. out of fears of the virus. Can't blame them, I'm glad if they can be ordered since I couldn't buy them at the event anyway.

This. There already are fears that the economy will drop into recession even if the Olympics manages to provide a boost to the economy. Delay is the only option since cancellation would devastate Japan's economy because so much has been pinned on its success, not to mention all the sunken costs with building and preparing for it. The economy already is shrinking at fast speed in its current state.

Given how hot the convention center is, 0%. It nearly kills people, so a simple virus won't stand a chance under that fire. Jokes aside though, realistically probably, but as anons mentioned with the Olympics that's definitely not going to be canceled because they'll be thinking more about the economics rather than the safety of citizens.

I was pleasantly surprise that M3 took place, even if apparently it was like at 50% capacity or something both in terms of booths and visitors

I hope the whole thing will have blown over by then - got my trip there booked already. Part for the timing for the trip was being able to go to comiket
