Played through that new Lune hypnotism game. Pretty good, I think the setting is neat (an arena located on a neutral island) and the H-scenes are nice. Dogeza is also a nice theme and I like how often it shows up. I think it lacks the energy of some of their prior saimin games (the protagonist basically has no emotions) but that's not really a huge deal. Not an amazing game, but a very solid title nonetheless.

A lot of nukige are short on plot so they can drill as much sex out as possible. Though the opposite side of that also just has too much plot for not enough sex. I'd say the perfect fusion of sage period plot segments and good sex scenes is probably Lune's Aku no Onna Kanbu 1. The biman games also have stories to their copious amounts of sex scenes, too.

You also need to be in japanese time format, if I recall right. The game is on one of those engines that gives you mojibake unless you have both locale and time format set to Japanese. The absolute wonders of japanese coding, really. It's actually saddening because this level of incompetent coding means these games will suffer the test of time the hardest.

If I recall, try using AGTH or an old Chiitrans (comes with AGTH) and use x3 to show you more threads. Either that or try ITH of some sort. There's essentially a chapter order of events as you progress along, so if you're aiming for one girl then you should probably choose her as the first target to lose against SilvaStar early on. Don't worry too hard about it, though. The game's meant to be played through a few times if you want the full experience. Plus, since you get to choose who goes up against SilvaStar, you can actually make one girl lose and then get that girl who lost to help you defeat the next girl, ala Megaman style. Depends on the girl, of course. For example (actual spoiler), if I recall right, Lunatemis is a TERRIBLE cook who thinks her cooking is actually good when it's essentially poison. You can use this to your advantage and get her to cook for you, then feed it to another heroine and that'll fuck them up against the fight against SilvaStar. It's hilarious. By the way, there is always 3 different ways to beat an executive, but you don't need to discover all of them. You NEED at least one to defeat the executive or you'll lose, so that's why you go around exploring the map and having chill out, slice of life times with the girls. You might as well just trigger all the events on the map because actually spending time with the cast is fun. This will net you at least both options 1 and 2. And option 3 is the one that depends on you having already defeated one of the executives previous, so you'll not have that option for the first girl (this is why you'd need to replay to see how she gets beaten that way). The system's not too complicated, it's actually quite fun, I think. Easily part of the reason why this game's so good, really.

Also, another thing I recall is that certain scenes are only available if you've defeated the executive. So yea, the sooner you beat an executive the better if you want to see her scenes post defeat. It kind of sucks for the completionist that wants to see it all in one run, but these older style nukige and VNs are all like that. Your choices have impact in a nukige, who'd have thunk it.

It's not so much that you can miss out on scenes, it's that each heroine you capture has one or two scenes unlocked per chapter so you only get them all if you beat that heroine as early as you can

Also, while you don't need to find every way of beating them, each way you beat them nets you a different h-scene, and there's always one method that requires capturing a specific other heroine first. You basically need to play the game 3 or 4 times to get all the scenes, maybe more, and there's like 11ish endings IIRC.

Yes, that initial scene where they straight up attempt to murder him followed by the rest of the game is out of place, especially with Kaguya. She gives an excuse later but it's a weak one, she basically just stands there and watches MC (supposedly) die without doing a single god damn thing even though its revealed later she watches him and tries to stop the other executives from hurting him. It makes more sense for the other girls to not give a fuck if he dies but even for them, they never act like that again. I would just disregard it for characterisation purposes honestly.

It's a little bit more than that, really. As far as power structure goes, once you fuck up and get punished that's it for you. Which is exactly what happened to Katsuma* (not Kazuya, sorry) -- he fucked up trying to deal with SilvaStar at the start of the game and his punishment was dished out (which turns out to be death for an underline like him). There's nothing really more for you after that. It's a get over it and move on sort of thing.

And you also have to remember that they lose their status as a full moon to Katsuma, which makes them essentially no better than a Piece Moon with a face. It's not in their power to disobey the rules of Lunarverse, especially when even Lunarverse obeys the rules she imposes. Also, the game's not too serious about things. It's a bit more like the old Ralph and Sam cartoon where on the job, which is tokusatsu enemy of day time, they are mortal enemies, yet off the job in their super secret disguises they're actually friendly with each other. The only one out of the know is Tsukimi, because she's dumb. The game's not all too dark outside of the very start where they left Katsuma for dead, really.

Which was a big enough deal that Lunarverse accepted Katsumas demand that he gets to punish the Executives if they fuck up.

Katsuma isn't getting punished for anything in that scene, Lunatemis basically backstabs him and Lunarverse doesn't even know, which is why not just her but essentially all the Executives involved get punished for it. It's somewhat out of character for some of the Executives and it's totally out of character for Kaguya who doesn't even really react, then no one ever mentions it again.

From what I can tell based on what I've seen

Two types of gameplay in the story mission, "farming" and bosses. Farming is auto play, just send your girls on a mission and they bring back resources per hour. Multiple teams can farm at once. Second one is boss battle which you can actually lose, need the resources you farm from the first type of mission to level up or else you'll probably lose to Diana on stage 3.

Gacha was already explained here, unless you can earn fragments you're pretty sad if you roll an SSR of a girl but dont get her full version

Would be nice if miel did more gyaru nukige. Harafure was nice for that. Though I think my most favourite part of that game was seeing them all comment on their pregnancy when the protagonist met them early in the morning later on in the game. Like them saying how they felt their babies kicking cause they were happy that their father was close by.
