You need boss tickets in order to kill bosses to get tokens for the gacha

The highest level you can fight to get boss tickets is "Sub-Space Hard Stage 06" which cost 38 AP. It gives 20 total boss tickets.
You need 50 boss tickets to fight the highest level boss. The highest level boss drops only 400 tokens max.

To clear the first collection you need a total of 15000 tokens since each roll cost 100 tokens
Unless you use a shit ton of AP potions/restore AP with gems, you'll only be able to clear the first collection before the event ends
It doesn't even matter if you have a strong enough team to farm the final boss because you'll be limited by your energy

It's the same for me, usually I just clear enough to either buy out what I need from the shops or finish the point ladder. Sometimes not even the latter since it got a little too draining at times. Managed to clear it this time though.

Ironically, while people seem to hate the weapon plans that they introduced, it does seem to help me with getting more weapons close to the 30/30 limit rather than before. The only time I actually get 30/30 weapons seems to be the item drop Events, where the special quests seem to have a good rate and allows for good money farming.

So 10 rolls or 500oo gems to get a guarantee. Rate-up is 1% now out of a total of 2%, which was 0.7 or 0.6 when it was 1%, I think? The chances have gone up at least. Got to see if this will carry over to the other Gachas. Premium is now 2% too but the Ticket Gacha isn't changed at all, so that sucks.

Personally, I would have preferred 5-6 rolls like the more recent games are doing, but those are usually random highest rank and not a guaranteed.

Equipment effects vary and some items will be stat sticks while some may offer status immunity or regen or bonus damage to/reduced damage from certain weapon types, etc. You may sometimes even find yourself going back a rank in gear for one of those things depending on the fight you're bringing the unit to.

Thing is, I barely use healers.

I'd look at 3* with good nukes like Goemon, Bedivere and Percival.
Scorpion's poison is great at taking down bosses.

Almost every unit is good when raised so you can't go wrong with picking your favorites.

You unlock something in the previous tier and then can unlock whatever in the next one.

Kai'd units are so much better than their base forms are yes. You want to generally want to use dupes to limit break the girls to unlock slot and raise their level cap. 7* units are still much harder to obtain than 6* ones are so unless you absolutely hate a specific 7* unit you should keep them and use any dupes of them for that and not use them as kai fodder. 6* dupes come around often enough and you can even buy generic limitbreak and kai fodder for 6*s in the gold shop and as rewards from events that its much more worth using those to kai 7*s with than using base 7*s.

Hell V is brutal even for seasoned players and one kai won't change much. As >>22943475 says, it's also a waste to use dupe 7* for kai. Limit breaks matter a lot (especially first, because that lets you attach an attack facility) and at 7* your only source of them are dupes, step-up events, and anniversary gifts. I'd write off this event, max out Eljudnir, pick up the 6* Rashas, and try raising more girls for the next hell event.

Probably has to do with the seiyuu changing and all that.

Black V is up in MGCM. Reward structure is a little different and the shop now includes 3 tickets for a brand new set of arachne dresses. URs are Akisa, Seira, and Riri. SRs are Kokoa, Marianne, and Aka.

Yeah, speed is the most important, at least in the Silver range. Don't know how many teams I see with UR 2019 Kokoa, SR Erisa, UR Arachne Iroha, and another UR 2019. Usually such teams get to go twice and hit just as hard as anything else before my turns come up. My Sabbath team is still pretty much my tower team so I don't have speed stacked on any of them or the subs. Alternatively, maybe there's a way to get a team with passives that make them resilient to constant enemy attacks.

Anyone still playing Ayarabu? Devs have been trying to keep players by trowing lots of gems/tickets daily and even more on events, even though it helps, it doesn't change much as the infuriating weapons/units rates still are hell to deal with.
At least events are more doable now and the new Guild Raid Bosses have some good rewards.

Still playing here and it's nice to see that they're constantly improving things, albeit at a slow pace.

The best recent chance was probably the exp increase for hardmode scroll farming maps, which made leveling characters without scrolls actually feasible.

I just hope they'll keep up handing out free gems and chances to get summon tickets, especially since they don't seem to want to change their gacha practices.

Can't tell you much since I only made it to "hard" type of quests recently, but I noticed that daily exp quests on hard have a significant difference from "medium" types, one example is I can level up one new unit from level 1 to 20+ in one go. Then again, I don't know if it was already like that.
As for events, valentines event just dropped today and I already got the new unit when on past events I never got even one of them, so I'd say the grind is more acceptable.

Oh, so the hardmode exp raise is a new thing like I suspected, lucky me I got there just when it raised then.

Judging from the rolls I did recently (both gems and tickets), I'd say that the rates and the high probability to get off-bannered or equipment-trolled are still the same. That being said, I did get the current event 5* within two 10x rolls.

On a related note, here's a few upcoming things from the last producer letter:

* Yin/Yang party boost skills will be implemented on the 26th of February. The skills seem to be customizable in a way (i.e. "focus on defense", "focus on atk"). Requires special items to unlock, you get one for free when you reach player level 100.

She's alright for limited turn bosses. When maxed out, her atk/crit buff can be applied continuously. Her normal attack is attack down and not defense down though, so you'll need someone else to cover for that. 2019 Evo is still better for waves and rushdown with her AoE defense debuff, if you have her.

Nothing is worse than them stacking Royal Knight Armor Ao. Last month for wave 3 on 49F there were 4 of them and it was the most annoying by far out of all the tower floors. Self debuff removal + self counter stance + full team regen for skill 2 is just stupid. Personally, I gave up on last month's Hard at the floor with the 2 Royal Knight Armor Aos. While Oni Kokoa helped, the fact they hit like a goddamn truck and still managed to 2-shot people before they died to Curse was frustrating. Not to mention, the Nymphs with Double EVO Eliza right after.
