It seems that there are more and more people who are trying out the IM@S games, and so as a professional IM@S producer myself I thought I might give all of you some pointers.

Haruka Amami - First off we have the all around good girl. She's a good starter since you'll have basically level stats. It is important to remember that she is a little clumsy though and you should remind her of this constantly to keep her attention not to mention quashing any dreams she has so her mind doesn't wonder off.
Chihaya Kisaragi - What can I say, she's pretty much the best vocalist, but don't tell her that. In fact try and convince her that her that the voice aspect of the job is her worst aspect so she doesn't get any ideas of being full of herself, also try and remind her that she's not the best looking and that she should work on that.
Yukiho Hagiwara - Keep a tissue box handy with this one, she'll start crying as soon as you look at her. Best way to counter this is to comfort her with puppies, although she won't openly admit it she has an intense love for dogs, also try to get her into very social situations since she needs to work on her people skills.
Yayoi Takatsuki - Most energetic of the girls she should be put to work at all times, but be sure that she is quiet the rest of the time she she conserves her energy. Since she is very industrious be sure that she is able to pay back any loans since she seems to always mooch off money, be sure to add the interest she she learns a lesson in economics as she isn't too keen on money matters.

Ami and Mami Futami - Typical twins who enjoy confusing other people of who they actually are. Be sure to join in the fun by playing along and acting like you don't know which one they are by always calling them Ami no matter which you are talking to.
Miki Hoshii - "Pretty girl" who always is the best at everything she does. Be sure to correct this by being strict and having her follow only what you say. Enjoys sweet things so try to keep them away from her as much as possible and reminding her they make her look fat.
Takane Shijou - A new girl who is also one of the spoiled ones. Keep with the same strategy of not letting her get her way and only having her do what you want. Try and show her how everyday people act by avoiding things that might be considered upper class so she appreciates the position of the other girls.
Hibiki Ganaha - Girl who also has an intense passion for anything. Only critique is that she has an unhealthy obsession for animals, try to remind her that you are running a business and not a zoo, and her unnatural leanings towards bestiality will be frowned upon.

With this guide you will quickly whip those girls into shape and you too can become a pro Idolm@ster in no time!

Ritsuko Akizuki - One of the girls who formally worked on staff, who should be reminded of this constantly, that really has no business being an idol. Just play along as being her producer since she has some delusion that she is also an idol despite still being part of the staff.
Azusa Miura - Only person who clowns around more than Haruka, don't let either of them fool you into babying them though. Seems to be almost as delusional as Ritsuko in that she thinks she can do magic. Other than that producing for her is as easy as riding on rails.
Iori Minase - The rich girl who always gets what she wants. Will walk all over you the second she sees you if you are not extremely strict. Be sure to give out as much as she throws at you or you won't ever get anywhere.
Makoto Kikuchi - Popular for her boyish looks, which is one of the things you should try and capitalize on. Be sure to remind her that she can always tough out any situation. Going along with her boyish nature she is fond of bugs, doing guy things, and being a general tomboy.
