The original OP is superior.

Seconded.

Also, Ever17 is awesome. Any Anon who hasn't played it is a fagort.

Obligatory karma in Ever17 thread.

It is now playing in your head.

It's not bad but I prefer the original OP.

>> No.2292071

Thanks to 4chan I thought that she actually was in a washing machine, so the whole time I was playing Tsugumi's route I was expecting a scene where she gets trapped in a washing machine.

I loved it when Tsugumi became Downy Soft.

No more wrinkles in her dress for her.

It's so fucking boring..

I'm on the moment where Sora revealed herserlf as an artificial intelligent robot.

When will brick-shatting moments come in? Tsugumi route here.

You have to wait until the very last route. The first four are pretty good, but not great. Coco's route is the one that makes the game.

Kindly stay away from /jp/ and finish the game.
You wouldn't want the game to be spoiled.

Okay thanks for the advices.

Can't believe /jp/ has good-hearted anons.. ;_;

Go finish it, jesus. It's one of the best routes I've ever played.

>> No.2292369

Did the company ever release the PSP OP as a teaser as most eroge companies do? I'm after a high quality version of the PSP OP and don't much want to attempt ripping it from the PSP version manually.

Excuse me, but I meant Never7, then Remember11.

>> No.2292474

I have to agree with this guy. Ever17 ought to be the official must-read VN of /jp/.

It makes type-moon games look like garbage in comparison.

>> No.2292505

>>2292071
This happened to me too, I was going in expecting some sort of Visual Novel about strange murders and shit and got... well I got awesome so that was ok.

>>2292474

>> No.2292509

>>2292474
Wait, isn't that an unwritten generally-accepted rule?

>> No.2292511

>>2292474
It has a very, very different focus, pace, narrative, and uses hard science explanations.
And it's definitely not one to suggest to someone as a STARTER, since it's huge and slow at the start.

>> No.2292520

>>2292511
I agree with this, while it's not a complicated VN, its one of the more meatier ones and not one a beginner should play.

It's still really awesome though.

>> No.2292521

>>2292509
And because it's unwritten, nobody can know of it when they first come to /jp/, thus we can troll them when we tell them 'Why haven't you read it yet'.
Brilliant.

>> No.2292527

>>2292520
I don't. It's the first I've finished and made me like VNs. I tried Tsukihime two years prior but died at the first possible point.

>>2292520
Of course it is.
But for a starter in this thing, it's both hard to get into, not to mention that he won't use a guide, get a couple bad ends, and feel like a human failure.

>> No.2292537

>>2292511
I'd say Ever17 is as easy to start with as any Type Moon game. If you can read through over 50 hours of Nasu's walls of text then you can read Ever17.

>> No.2292540

>>2292527
Yes, but in Tsukihime, you just retrace the last choice, at most points.
In Ever 17, you go in the wrong order in the Hide-and-Seek, kick the can, etc, or claim you know Archimede's principle, and suddenly drowning, since it accumulates.

If you went through it with NO trouble on your own, while claiming Tsukihime is hard or something...you really lost me.

>> No.2292547

>>2292537
I would not reccomend Ever 17 NOR TM stuff for starters, If you get my point.
They are both huge, have a varying pace, and ones uses Hard Science which you must remember for further plot points and another it's own mechanics.

And since we cannot be sure of WHO the fuck will be reading them and their attention span or interests, it'd be better to suggest something along the lines of YMK, Crescendo, Kana, Planetarian etc, and leave these for later.

>> No.2292549

>>2292540
>Hide-and-Seek, kick the can, etc, or claim you know Archimede's principle
I think those things are mostly cosmetic choices.

>> No.2292558

>>2292549
I'm not sure WHICH screws you up, but quite a few are not 'easy' to figure out which are the ones the character wants at points.
I have unlocked every shortcut, so I go there to see scenes instead of retracing the path from scratch.

>> No.2292562

>>2292540
Yeah...no trouble at all, actually had to retry some times to get the bad endings. When I replayed Tsukihime (finished three or four routes), it felt that the choices aren't as logical as in ever17.

>>2292549
Me too.

>> No.2292566

>>2292558
I know only about You's, when you have to guess what is written on the paper, I got to bad end with this. But rest is IMO only for different scenes ..

>> No.2292609

I got all the good end on my first try, except for Tsugumi's.
For some reason, I kept failing over and over.

I think that if you say that you know about Archimede's principle (seriously, who doesn't?), Takeshi doesn't get the full explanation and don't remember it later.
That is retarded.

>> No.2292619
