Tsukihime would be a great choice if you enjoyed FSN, though it might take a bit to get used to the lack of production quality if you played Fate first.
Not saying Tsukihime isn't a great game though, in fact, it's my favorite VN.

Tsukihime is shorter, with decidedly inferior art (and smaller soundtrack), but more to-the-point with a less idiotic hero.

I haven't played either of them. Mostly because of lack of time, but also since I'm uncertain about HOW to play them.

Is there any point in trying to get every single bad end or should one just try and reach the real end? Is it logical choices to get to the end, or do you need to keep saving to avoid dead ends from bad choices?

Ideally you should save at every choice.

Usually the logical choice saves your life, but sometimes you have to be decidedly illogical.

Bad Ends in Fate/Stay Night gets you omake Tiger Dojo scenes, typically for comedy. Getting every single bad end in Fate/Stay Night unlocks an extra Tiger Dojo with a series of bonus CGs.

Also, some bad ends (typically regarded to be Mind of Steel and Sparks Liner High) are nearing/equal/surpassing the quality of the real ends.
