It's really hard finding a working proxy now.
Basically you need a SOCKS proxy located in the US. I tried googling for those, found sites like http://sockslist.net/, went through some 50 proxies before I found a working one. I could finally log in.
The next day it was either full or offline. I almost cried ;_;

It would be much simpler if I just had a friend in the US. If any of you have someone like that, it's way better than trusting some suspicious company. Have that person host a VPN or proxy server for you. You will only use that once in a while to log in under his IP address. After login you can revert to your normal connection while you're still in the character select screen.

I forgot to mention that the issue happens with bows only and not crossbows. I never had it happen with a leather long bow, but it happened quite a bit with the elf-only guardian bow.

I had started playing again (quit a month or so after beta ended, just because) about two months before they even announced the G4-G6 patch. Noticed some talk about a supposed /jp/ guild. This needs clarification. While maybe a third of derp is chan faggots now, it's primarily the local goonsquad plus friends. Fagend isn't even chan. It's some crappy fansub group playing together and delaying releases. The closest thing there is to a real chan guild is lionhearts but they're all /v/.

I usually avoid guilds like that, since they typically behave only slightly better than you would expect someone in /b/ to behave (this, of course, doesn't encompass all of those who frequent /v/, only the more vocal, annoying ones). That's why I prefer playing with my fellow gentlemen from /jp/, I like to think that we're more civilized, with a desire to relax, and take it easy (some of us, at least).
