I'll be the first to say Nagi Yanagi has a lovely voice and is a good singer but I'm in the same camp. I really only like a few songs from her and most of them are from her first album and two of those are just covers of older anime songs.

Usually it's the same for me as well, but man I can listen to Akeboshi Rockets endlessly. Not just one or two songs, whole albums on repeat for hours without losing shivers. Those guitars are something else. Never found something that quite matched them in jap scene, outside of a few odd doujin albums by no names.

It's easy to just listen to the whole thing once and then just stick to the lead tracks /most popular songs, but repeat listens in different moods and even locations can change how you take in an album as a whole

Looking forward to Karin.'s second album. Her first one last year was actually really nice sweet little surprise to me. Uncomplicated, light, old-timey rock-poppy record. Simple lyrics and melodies supporting that strange feeling of sincerity. Karin. and Miyuna were really nice new discoveries for me in the last year.
