Nah, and even if you do heat it up to that level of hotness, it cools down very quickly, the outside layer that is.
I like to enjoy the holes for 20-40min, and it stays warm for me the entire time. It's just really nice and comfy and I would 100% recommend for everyone to get an electrical heating blanket.
You can keep it wrapped up entire time you're using and it doesn't even make it all that much more uncomfortable to use, if you're laying down on the bed for example, might become clunky if you're sitting maybe.
