I actually like how funny most of them are. It's part of the charm in a way. You have quite a nice and well-told story with cute characters you feel for and the suddenly they are put in a crude atrociously written sex scenes. Maybe I just got used to it, but it makes me chuckle and not in a really bad way. Just a part of a package for me.

One thing that makes these scenes sort of ridiculous for me is that they are often overly long which seems unnecessary to me. Trimming the text down to basics, sharp focus on CG and moans of the heroine - short but intense moment of pleasure would probably work better for most of VNs instead of drawn-out bother. I wonder. It's sort of interesting to think about, actually.

There are three threesomes in three of the routes of Kiniro, two of them are avoidable given your choices and the third one has a somewhat logical reason as to why it happens, it can be enjoyed mostly full of monogamy in case you're still interested in playing it.
To be honest the way the optional ones occur is indeed pretty ridiculous and out of character but, given the fact that they're optional and never mentioned again during the rest of the route, I just see them as I nice way of getting interesting non-canon h-scenes.

Make adding new cards as painful as possible, make a rule you have to write the word down a couple of times with the correct stroke order and look it up if you don't know it. Name the hen and tsukuri of every kanji, say what radical it is. That's how I did it. Make it as unpleasant as it gets, so your brain will look for a way to ease the unpleasantness. It will either end with either you dropping reading completely or learning Japanese and freeing yourself from text hooking.

Minus the time travel shit which is only really prevalent and actively utilized in Toukas route (which is a shame because I quite liked her route until the 2nd half where the time shit starts and ruins it), It's pretty solid and less sleep inducing than previous toneworks Titles, at least once you're in a route.

I'd recommend doing Reins route 1st and if its not enjoyable you should just drop it since hers is probably the best one.
Uguisu's route is also great but its a route that I feel is better after having finished another route before it.

I think few people bother with console VNs anyway. Especially currently, with there being little to no reason to even own a console, unless if you are into Nintendo games. A couple of thematic decks and a mining deck for every word containing kyouiku kanji, two cards per note (the word itself + reading and meaning and the other way around, for every reading and meaning write it down with correct stroke order), with proper intervals in inserting notes to my deck (with notes waiting in a CSV "buffer" before loading them up) I managed to go to ~80 cards in around an hour every day, usually before breakfast. Combine that with notes on individual words, concepts and kanji itself (e.g., dunno, numerals in financial forms or other "categories" like that) and you can recognize most of the ideographs in no time based on known hen/tsukuri/kanmuri/whatever. Use the notes, read all the time and you're free from texthooking. Having an easy job, no friends and no other activities aside from staying alive also helped a lot.

So far both mcs have their own cast of support chars and the mcs haven't really interacted (chapter 4).
First arc basically followed Reno, second arc Gray, then back to Reno and now back to Gray.
Don't think there will by any polygamy stuff, so far Reno and Gray both have their own "love interests".
Reno is pretty autistic so it's hard to say.

text hooking is literally deadly

Ended Raillore, biggest disappointment since Hitori Sensou. Since I liked a lot Sorcery Jokers I had big expectations for the vn that 3rd eye took 4 years to make, just to get a bit better than average at best VN.
There were many rushed plot devices and awkward character development, not to say that I can't even call the end twist a twist of how little impact it had.
But the biggest disappointment (subjective) was the characters, like I wasn't expecting another Senri but I can't find something more boring than a berserker mc, cmon. The only fight scenes that were enjoyable were some with glay that his wit made it less linear than reno I snatch and win ones. And the heroines were worse than their last game, and I didn't found the heroines of their last game that great either except for Fiona.

But whatever I just wanted to rant, the game isn't bad but my expectations didn't let me enjoy it completely.

When you delete stuff and want to recover things, the most important thing is that you DON'T write on the disc afterwards. Because of that it's mostly over for a lot of people, unless you just happen to have a disc specifically for playing games and NOTHING else, so windows or whatever doesn't write on it periodically. You can still be lucky if you are fast.
Then you need a recovery program on a different disc, which searches all the "deleted" files, out of which you can then choose. No "folder pointing" or whatever. Folders tend to no longer exist.

Just for future reference. If the save files are so important to you, make backups once you are done with a game. Recovering deleted files is just the last resort and can easily end up only giving you corrupted files.

Once you get the scene that indicates an unlocked ending you get the new content which is bride versions for Thor and Odin and Santa versions for Rigret and corrupted Thor. With a static image, you can pixel perfect the mosaic so that it hides everything with the least amount of censorship but with a moving image, it's harder to do tracking for it, so they just get lazy and use larger mosaics so that they are guaranteed to hide everything without fear of missing a spot.
